One Piece volume 107 is finally here and that means it is time for a new SBS corner. As always, this manga volume's SBS corner is also filled with quite a lot of interesting details from the story. Oda joked and had fun with his fans, just as he always does, but at the same time, he also revealed some very interesting bits of information that fans would surely be interested in.

One particular detail that Oda revealed pertained to a very powerful Devil Fruit seen in the One Piece world that remained unnamed until now. Finally, Oda has assigned a name to this Devil Fruit and fans can only hope that its powers are further elaborated upon in the story in the future.
Bonney's Devil Fruit Name - Toshi Toshi no Mi
In One Piece SBS volume 107, Oda finally revealed the Devil Fruit name for the Paramecia power that Bonney possesses. This fruit was revealed to be the Toshi Toshi no Mi, which loosely translates to the Age Age Fruit. This is a pretty straightforward name and quite a lot of the fans expected this the power that belongs to Bonney, to begin with. However, it is always nice to have confirmation from the author himself. For some reason, Oda never revealed the name of Bonney's Devil Fruit when she was introduced to the fans in Sabaody Archipelago. Her introduction card clearly mentioned her moniker, which is Big Eater. Her bounty was also mentioned at the same time and it was real to be 140 million berries, which was certainly very impressive and among the highest ones in the Supernova at the time.
It did not have any mention of her Devil Fruit ability, however, fans did get a first-hand look at her powers in action not long after. When fighting broke out on the island of Sabaody Archipelago, Bonney made use of the Toshi Toshi no Mi extensively. Using this Devil Fruit, she changed the ages of the Marines, and some of them she turned into toddlers, while others were turned into old and dying marines. This power was showcased to be absolutely incredible. In fact, this ability is dangerous to fight against for anyone. Toshi Toshi no Mi has a lot of incredible powers. The basic ability that this Devil Fruit possesses is the power to change the ages of people and fans have already seen that in action several times. Upon contact, Bonney can easily change the age of a person to anything that she wants. This change in age can affect anyone, including living things, and even inanimate objects. However, it must be remembered that the effects of this Devil Fruit on living beings are only temporary. Their ages are changed for quite a long time, however, at the end of a significant period of time, they return to their normal ages. Of course, this process can also be significantly shortened if Bonney simply turns them back to their normal age by herself.
Among the many incredible powers of the Toshi Toshi no Mi is the ability called Distortion Future. This ability is absolutely incredible and it gives Bonney the power to turn into an alternate version of herself, which is a different future. When she uses this power on herself, she can turn into a giant muscular woman, which is very similar to the people of the Buccaneer race. Fans know that Bonney Is Kuma's daughter and that means she could have had Buccaneer blood in her veins. It appears that she has no connection to the Buccaneer race, however, Bonney can certainly access their power through Distortion Future. She can also use this power on others.
For instance, she was seen using this power on Luffy and turned him into a 70-year-old man with no dreams, just as Oda once drew in his SBS corner.
Another powerful ability that Bonney possesses is Age Thrust. Essentially, this ability is incredibly dangerous as it does not require Bonney to make direct contact with her targets in order to manipulate their ages. Using any object that she is holding, Bonney can channel her Devil Fruit powers and thrust at her targets. When making contact, their ages are manifested outside their bodies as jewels. Bonney used this power on Vegapunk and turned him into a child. Of course, Bonney has absolute control over this power and she can return them to a person if she so wishes.
As mentioned earlier, Bonney can also use the powers of the Toshi Toshi no mi on inanimate objects. This is done through a technique known as Oil Shock. Essentially, this is quite similar to how Shinobu's Devil Fruit works. By using her aging powers on any inanimate object, Bonney can simply age it up to a point where it starts corroding and becomes brittle. She can then break it with minimal effort, making it an incredibly amazing power. Essentially, Bonney can do this to enemy weapons, such as swords, or enemy fortifications, which is what she did in Vegapunk's laboratory in order to get to what she wanted.
Another incredible ability that the Toshi Toshi no Mi grants to Bonney is called NDE, or Near Death Experience. As is evident from the name itself, this ability gives the target a near-death experience. Bonney can utilize this power in whatever way she wants, including projectiles or bullets. When she first utilized it, she was seen making use of a gun to fire at her enemies. As soon as the enemies were shot, they had a near-death experience where they saw themselves dying, turning into rotten skeletons and even seeing their souls depart their bodies.
This is a very traumatic experience for nearly anyone and they immediately faint from this near death experience. Bonney used this power on Egghead Island when she was fighting against powerful Marines in the Fabriophase. It goes without saying that this is an incredible ability and certainly one of the strongest applications of the powers of the Toshi Toshi no Mi.
Of course, there are likely many other powers of this Devil Fruit that fans have not seen just yet. Bonney has been bringing out her very best in the Egghead Island arc of One Piece and, given that this arc is still ongoing, there is a lot left for her to showcase. Given her incredible control of her powers, fans can hope that she manages to awaken her Devil Fruit and take her powers to the very next level. The Toshi Toshi no Mi has certainly proven itself to be an incredible ability and fans can only hope that it continues that amazing display throughout the Egghead arc.
