V. Nusjuro is one of the most powerful individuals in the world of One Piece right now. Fans have seen quite a lot of him over the last few months of the story, and that is because all the Elders have been summoned to Egghead Island by Saturn. The reason for the summoning was to stop Vegapunk from delivering his message to the entire world. It can be said that the Elders failed in stopping the message for the vast majority of it, and that only the last bit of the message was actually stopped.

Nusjuro is an incredibly powerful individual whose strength is impeccable. He possesses the ability of the Bakotsu Yokai, and just like the other Elders, he is overwhelmingly strong. His abilities also seem to be awakened, which means that his strength, speed, and just about every other physical attribute that he possesses are at a sky-high level. Among them, his speed is especially great, so much so that he is almost unseen to the naked eye. While he does have incredible abilities stemming from his Yokai/Fruit ability, what fans know is that he has much more to offer than just that. Fans know for a fact that Nusjuro also wields a powerful katana. This katana was first introduced with him back in the pre-timeskip of One Piece. It was clear that he wields a strong sword, judging by the size of the blade itself.

Fans were theorizing that this blade would be incredibly strong, and now, all the theories have essentially been confirmed. In the Egghead Island Arc, Nusjuro utilized his blade quite effectively. As soon as he stepped foot on the island, he made use of his blade and essentially cut through 50 Mark 3 Pacifistas in the blink of an eye. He circled the entire coast of Egghead within minutes, and that certainly is a magnificent feat. Every Pacifista that he sliced was essentially incapacitated without him doing any real damage to it. And the same time, fans know that Nusjuro has tremendous range, and his attacks can cut through anything, as confirmed by the Giants of Elbaf.

This ability to cut down the pacifistas without actually harming them and cutting anything in his path, regardless of how tough they are, is proof of the fact that Nusjuro has mastered the way of the sword. He is a true swordsman whose blade follows his every order. He cuts what he wants and chooses not to cut what he wants to spare and preserve. Nusjuro is a master swordsman, a master of Ryuo, and of course, an incredibly powerful user of Conqueror's Haki. His swordsmanship is taken to another level using his Haki as well, and of course, his Haki works best in conjunction with his powerful sword. As has been confirmed in One Piece chapter 1117, Nusjuro wields one of the most powerful blades in the entirety of One Piece.

The Shodai Kitetsu Is A Supreme Grade Blade

For the longest time, fans were theorizing over the name of Nusjuro's sword. Clearly, his sword had a lot of similarities to Zoro's very own. Fans believed that Nusjuro would carry a blade from the Kitetsu line as well. That said, sometimes, Oda can simply draw two swords to have a similar design. Fans were wondering if it was just a coincidence, or if there was something more to it. However, when taking into consideration the work of an author such as Oda, one always needs to keep the small things in the back of their minds, and of course, tie them to as many closely related things as possible. Just by looking at Nusjuro's sword, it was clear that he wields the power of the Kitetsu blade.

However, he certainly did not have the same blade as Zoro. For one, his sword is much bigger and stronger. Fans know that the Kitetsu blade was crafted over three generations. With each successive generation, the blade got weaker. This means that the first generation of the Kitetsu blade is the strongest, while the third generation is the weakest. The third generation of Kitetsu blades is carried by Zoro. This blade is incredibly sharp, and at the same time, somewhat of a problem child, as Zoro calls it. At the same time, it thirsts for blood. This has got to do with the curse of the sword, which, as has been explained in the series already. It brings upon a terrible fate to those who wield it. All the wielders of the Kitetsu blade die a terrible death in one way or another. Of course, with each previous generation, the curse gets stronger.

How Strong Is Shodai Kitetsu?

The Shodai Kitetsu Is On The Same Level As Yoru, Ace, And Murakumogiri

Given that the Shodai Kitetsu is a Supreme Grade sword and carries a certain bloodlust, it is safe to say that this blade is one of the strongest in the entirety of One Piece. It is on par with the likes of Yoru, and Ace. This sword carries a blood thirst. This most likely means that this sword is the most difficult to control out of all the Supreme Grade weapons that fans have seen in the story so far. It would also likely cut the sharpest. Fans have not seen the true capabilities of this sword. However, as Oda continues to explore the Final Saga, which essentially requires the involvement of Nusjuro, fans will most definitely see more of the Shodai Kitetsu.
