It can be said that Marineford is one of the very best arcs in One Piece, and in the eyes of some fans, it is the very best. However, in the post timeskip of One Piece, Oda has already written arcs that can be considered to be better than Marineford. As such, it isn't much of a surprise for the fans to know that Oda believes what he is going to write in the Final Saga is going to be vastly superior. For instance, Oda recently wrote the Wano Arc, which many consider to be the very best in the entire series. In fact, the incredible depth of writing, as well as storytelling in itself in this Arc is arguably better, and One Piece has never looked as exciting. Furthermore, to take thanks a step further, the very beginning of the Final Saga, with Egghead Island, has been absolutely sensational. Egghead has seen one event after another take place, and this is what has kept the fans on the edge of their seats already.

This is just the beginning of the Final Saga, and fans know that what comes next is going to be even more intense, and that just means they are in for a treat. Oda himself agrees with this and has admitted that the Final Saga of One Piece is going to be far better than anything that the fans can imagine. Here's what Oda had to say about One Piece's Final Saga:

One thing that motivates me to keep drawing One Piece is that I want to draw the Final Saga. The Final Saga will be so amazing that it makes the Marineford arc look like nothing. Marineford arc was just a side trip to me. I didn't expect it to be so popular.

There's one part of a story that Oda always wanted to draw the most, and it is the Final Saga. This can be true for many reasons, however, above all, it is because this arc is filled with some of the most important characters, and of course, it will tackle the deepest secrets of One Piece, which is what makes it truly special. It is in this arc that fans will get to see Luffy fulfill his dream, and more importantly, tie all the loose ends that have been dangling for decades.

Why The Final Saga Will Be One Piece's Greatest Stretch

One Piece Is Only Going To Get Better

One Piece's Final Saga is most definitely going to be its best stretch. In fact, it has already proven itself to be an incredible arc. There is absolutely no surprise in knowing the fact that many fans consider Egghead to be the best arc in One Piece already. When one takes into consideration the absolute scale of events that have taken place in the Egghead Arc, this doesn't come as a surprise to anyone. In fact, this is even crazier, knowing that Egghead is just the beginning of the Final Saga. Usually, the first few arcs in a saga are tamer, and as the story picks up, Oda delivers the best arcs towards the end. This can be observed in practically every saga in the story.

For instance, in the East Blue Saga, things got more exciting towards Arlong Park. Similarly, Water Seven and Enies Lobby had a mind-blowing conclusion in the second half, and of course, the Summit War Saga heated up with Marineford, which was its very peak. Similarly, in the post-timeskip, fans witnessed the Four Emperor Saga, which concluded with Wano.

Fans are now in the final stretch of One Piece, and this saga is going to be absolutely incredible in more ways than one. Egghead is just the beginning and from here onwards, each arc will start getting more intense. Fans will eventually head into Elbaf, and after that, most likely, the series is going to tackle the biggest of secrets, and of course, a massive war as well. One Piece is only going to get crazier from here onwards, which means that there's absolutely no doubt that Marineford will be far surpassed by the time the series is done. All fans need to do is sit back patiently and watch Oda do what he does best and illustrate his story in the most incredible manner.
