The world of One Piece is filled with various kinds of devil fruits. These mysterious objects grant their users incredible powers, but they come at a price. Anyone who consumes a devil fruit loses their ability to swim, and one might say that it puts them at a disadvantage since they spend most of their time at sea.

Yet it is not a big tradeoff, as the power they receive is incredible. This is true for most cases, but there are certain devil fruits that are just bizarre, and not in a good way. They provide their users with underwhelming abilities, thus making them the most forgettable devil fruits in One Piece.

8 Jake Jake no Mi

Kelly Funk using Jake Jake no Mi

The Jake Jake no Mi is a paramecia type devil fruit that was eaten by Kelly Funk. It was introduced in the battle that took place inside Corrida Coliseum in the Dressrosa arc. The Jake Jake no Mi enables its user to turn into a jacket at will.

This jacket can be worn by another person, which causes the user to take over their body. While this ability might come in handy in certain situations, it is unknown whether the user can take over the body of another person against their will. Sadly, the devil fruit does not provide any other special power, making it rather boring.

7 Guru Guru no Mi

Buffalo flying using Guru Guru no Mi

Guru Guru no Mi is a paramecia type devil fruit that is currently in the possession of Buffalo of the Donquixote Pirates. The devil fruit allows its user to turn any part of their body into propellers, granting them the ability to fly. Being able to fly is definitely an underrated ability, so why did the devil fruit fail to make an impression?

It is mainly because the Guru Guro no Mi only helps its user to fly. It does not increase the strength of an individual, nor does it grant them any extra powers. Furthermore, Buffalo's handling of the devil fruit is subpar.

6 Ato Ato no Mi

Giolla using the powers of Ato Ato no Mi

The Ato Ato no Mi is arguably one of the strangest devil fruits in One Piece. It was eaten by Giolla, and she used it to turn people and objects into abstract art. Any objects affected by the devil fruit lose their ability to function properly.

This power can come in handy in certain situations, but it requires Giolla to make contact with the target. Furthermore, if Giolla is knocked out, all the art reverts to its old form. The lack of offensive power and a very limited ability to incapacitate her targets made both Giolla and the devil fruit easily forgettable.

5 Beri Beri no Mi

Berry Good avoids Franky's attack

Many Marine officers possess incredibly powerful devil fruits, but there are a select few that have useless abilities. One such character is Berry Good, a Marine captain who participated in the Buster Call that took place at Enies Lobby.

He possesses the Beri Beri no Mi, a paramecia type devil fruit with little to no offensive powers. Its only redeeming quality is that it makes the user immune to blunt attacks by granting them the ability to turn into multiple balls.

4 Shari Shari no Mi

Sharinguru from the anime

The Shari Shari no Mi is arguably the worst devil fruit in One Piece. This paramecia type devil fruit was eaten by Sharinguru, and it allowed him to turn his limbs into wheels.

He can spin these wheels at high speeds, which enables him to land a fairly powerful attack on his opponents. Except for this ability, the Shari Shari no Mi does not grant any additional powers to its user. Needless to say, the devil fruit was quickly forgotten after the Enies Lobby arc.

3 Poke Poke no Mi

Blamenco takes out a weapon

The Poke Poke no Mi was introduced during the Marineford arc. The devil fruit was eaten by Blamenco, who was the 6th Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.

The devil fruit creates pockets on the body of its user, which allows them to carry important things all the time. Due to Blamenco's limited appearances, the devil fruit couldn't leave a lasting impression on the audience. If the Poke Poke no Mi was eaten by one of the main characters, then it would have definitely managed to stay relevant.

2 Toge Toge no Mi

Miss Wednesday attacking her opponent

The Toge Toge no Mi was introduced in the Arabasta arc. The devil fruit was eaten by Miss Doublefinger, a former Baroque Works agent. The Toge Toge no Mi is a paramecia type devil fruit that allows its user to grow spikes on any part of their body.

The spikes created by the devil fruit are quite durable, but they do have their limitations. After the Straw Hats left Alabasta, both Miss Doublefinger and her devil fruit were quickly forgotten.

1 Mato Mato no Mi

Vander Decken throwing knives

The Mato Mato no Mi belongs to Vander Decken IX, the captain of the Flying Pirates. In order for the devil fruit to function, Vander Decken needs to touch a person or an object. After coming into contact with the target, the hand memorizes it, and Vander Decken can start using his devil fruit.

He can throw any object in any direction, and it will redirect itself and head toward the target. With this ability, Vander Decken was able to harass Princess Shirahoshi for many years. Sadly, the devil fruit doesn't offer any other abilities, making it prosaic
