Kaido is one of the strongest characters in One Piece, and given that he was known as the strongest creature alive on land, air, and sea until recently, fans could imagine the strength that he possessed before he even demonstrated it. In the Wano arc, Kaido showcased his incredible abilities to the absolute maximum. He was an absolute monster in combat that few could take down and much of that was down to his Devil Fruit power of the Azure Dragon.
One Piece: Luffy's Best Haki Feats, Ranked
Luffy has showcased some incredible haki feats in One Piece.
However, Kaido had also trained his Haki to the absolute best and reached a level that not many pirates in the One Piece world can hit. Kaido produced many amazing Haki feats in One Piece, and some of them are quite clearly extraordinary.
8 Could See The Future And Outspeed Snakeman
Against: Kaido
Kaido did not have many amazing Observation Haki feats, however, he shocked every fan when he showcased the power to see the future during his fight against Luffy.
Once he entered his Shuron Hakke mode, where his Haki grew stronger, Kaido was able to see the future and copy Luffy's culverin attacks. He was even able to take Snakeman by surprise, which is not easy, given the speed that Snakeman grants Luffy.
7 Split Skies With Big Mom
Against: Big Mom
When it comes to Conqueror's Haki, Kaido has utilized this power on many occasions and, one of the first proper Conqueror's Haki clashes that fans saw with him came when he fought against Big Mom.
The clash was so strong that it split the heaven itself, showcasing an Emperor level usage of Haki.
6 Split Skies With Luffy
Against: Luffy
Similar to when Kaido fought against Big Mom, he also managed to split the heavens when he clashed against Luffy. Once again, his Yonko level Haki was on full display here, and the clashes were so powerful that the cloudy sky was completely cleared, with the moon gleaming down on Onigashima.
This was extremely impressive, especially because Kaido was already damaged quite a bit at this point in the story.
5 Beat Zoro And Law at Once With Thunder Bagua
Against: Zoro and Law
In the Wano Arc, Kaido demonstrated his powers to the absolute fullest, and another incredible Haki feat that he produced was to take down two members of the Worst Generation in a single swing of his club. By quoting Hassaikai in Conqueror's Haki, Kaido was able to use Thunder Bagua and he hit both Zoro and Law with the same technique, taking them both down at the same time.
While Zoro was completely knocked out by this attack, Law was incapacitated, however, he kept his consciousness, at the very least.
4 Combined Haki With Big Mom To Launch Hakai
Against: Worst generation
Another amazing Haki feat that Kaido produced was when he combined his Haki with that of Big Mom, and launched a wave of Haki towards the Worst Generation pirates. This Haki-based attack was so powerful that it shattered around 30 bones in Zoro's body, despite him blocking it for only a single second.
Zoro managed to give everyone enough time to move out of the way and, from there onwards, Law used his ability to teleport him so that he would not die.
3 Knocked Out Luffy With 1 Thunder Bagua

One of the most impressive Haki feats that Kaido has produced was to knock Luffy out, a pirate was 1.5 billion berries at the time, with a single swing of his club.
Luffy was in Gear 4th at the time and was absolutely not able to do anything in the fight against Kaido. Kaido simply swung his club at him, and completely knocked him out, leaving him in a puddle of his own blood.
2 Knocked Out Luffy With 1 Kosanze: Ragnaraku
Against: Luffy
Kaido knocked out Luffy on more than just one occasion. When the two fought on the rooftop of Onigashima, he managed to knock out Luffy once again with a stronger technique, called Kosanze: Ragnaraku. This technique was launched by Kaido from the skies and he coated his club, Hassaikai, in Conqueror's Haki, sprung it in the air, and charged down on Luffy.
Despite Luffy using advanced-grade Armament Haki to shield himself and his body, it was not enough, and eventually, he was knocked out once again. This is an incredibly impressive feat, especially against a pirate who had advanced his Haki even further by this point in the story.
1 Killed Luffy With Horai Hakke

If knocking out Luffy twice with his powerful Haki was not enough, Kaido actually managed to kill him with his Haki-based attacks. In Wano, as Luffy and Kaido continued to fight, the latter's Haki continued to grow stronger, especially once he entered Shuron Hakke. In this state, his Haki was at its peak and he was able to manifest a stronger version of his Devil Fruit form as well.
Kaido utilized this form to hit Luffy with several powerful techniques and he succeeded in injuring him greatly. When Luffy planned to end things with his strongest Gear 4 technique, called Over Kong Gun, Kaido retaliated with a stronger version of Raimei Hakke, called Horai Hakke.
Due to interruption from CP0, Luffy was not able to withstand the blow and it was so powerful that it completely killed him, erasing his voice from existence. Luffy only managed to survive because his Devil Fruit awakened and granted him energy once again.
