The message last year was focused around Film Red, One Piece’s Netflix Live Action adaptation, One Piece Odyssey, and, of course, the manga itself. When it comes to the manga, Oda focused on the battle royal theme of the Egghead Island arc and, as well as some important bits of information here and there. “To everyone attending Jump Festa, as well as everyone else tuning in, hello. This is the world-famous idol Eiichiro Uta. Kidding.

Now then, this year the Wano Country Saga finally ended, and while the manga's been plenty busy, Film Red also became a massive Box OFFICE hit, so it's been one mind-blowing year. All One Piece staff members were cheering with joy.

Uta-chan's upcoming "Red And White" TV tour will be airing for the following days only as well, so I hope you can enjoy it. Also, the trading card game actually turned out to be pretty fun. Right before this, I asked my editors“Gimme the rare cards" but they told me "that's a desire not even the likes of us can be granted access to"... what the hell?!!

This long story has already been going on for over 25 years, and recently I've noticed that more and more younger readers are getting into it, which makes me happy. I know I've been saying final saga this and final saga that, but it's not gonna end as quickly as I'm making it sound, so I'd recommend not stressing over it and just reading comfortably.

next year, the game that's been 6 years in development, One Piece Odyssey, will finally release! and, the One Piece Hollywood live-action is making progress. For now, we have the base footage of season 1. So much went on behind the scenes, but if I'm being honest, the most worried person in the world that this will turn out good is me lol... but it actually looks AMAZING!!!

And finally, regarding the One Piece source material in 2023, it'll be a type of story that will have you going "No way!! that person and that person are gonna be fighting?!" If I were to give it a descriptive title, I'd call it a 'great battle royale’!! hope no one dies~!!

Looking at the message from the previous year, it is clear for the fans to see that Oda revealed quite an interesting amount of information. Oda mentioned that a lot of major fights would be happening in 2023, and that is exactly what took place. The likes of Law fought against Blackbeard, Shanks fought against Kid and, of course, Luffy ended up engaging in battle against Kizaru and now, Saturn. But that certainly wasn't all. The Revolutionary Army Commanders fought against the Marine Admirals and, of course, one cannot simply forget about Garp and his invasion of the Pirate Island. One Piece was full of major battles in 2023 and Oda certainly gave fans a very good hint in Jump Festa. That is exactly what fans are going to be expecting from Jump Festa 2024 as well.

One Piece: Oda Reveals The Most Overpowered Devil Fruit Yet

Fans should expect Oda to congratulate the One Piece Live Action staff in his message and, at the same time, likely drop some hints about season 2 of the show. However, most fans would want to hear about developments in the manga. Perhaps, Oda will tease the fact that Egghead Island is finally going to conclude in 2024, which is expected at this point. It is highly likely that Oda might tease some developments related to the upcoming arc, that is Elbaf. Every fan of One Piece knows that the Straw Hat Pirates are going to visit this island and, perhaps, now is the time for Oda to hype this interesting event up.

Most importantly, Oda could also hype up other players in the Final Saga. The likes of Shanks are going to enter the fray more and more with each passing chapter as One Piece heads deeper into the Final Saga. Last year, Oda dropped a sneak peek from chapter 1070 of the manga, which was supposed to be released later in the year. This time around, something similar could end up happening. One Piece 1102 is quite close to being released, however, the manga is on break at the moment. This means that Oda could use this opportunity to drop some spoilers for One Piece chapter 1102. Last year, Oda released a panel of Luffy in Gear 5, fighting against Rob Lucci and dealing a very heavy blow to him. This time around, the story could reveal another panel, however, it would be focused on Kuma or Bonney. Given that the story is currently completely focused on these two characters, fans should expect a panel of either Kuma undergoing some experimentation or, Bonney setting out to the sea to become a pirate. Regardless of what Oda reveals to the fans, it is certainly going to be very interesting and something that fans are eagerly waiting for in anticipation.

As always, there are likely going to be other surprises for One Piece fans in Jump Festa 2024, and that is another interesting aspect of why this is one of the best times of the year for any fan of the series.
