In Mihawk's control, Yoru becomes a lethal weapon, as seen during the Paramount War arc. Just a casual slash from the blade was powerful enough to slice through a massive iceberg with rather ease. During his first fight against Zoro, Mihawk could easily have killed him with Yoru had he wished so, but the determination of the young swordsman impressed him enough to let him live.

Mihawk's Supreme Grade Weapon - Yoru

The origins of Yoru are not known in One Piece just yet, however, this sword is exceptionally powerful. Mihawk believes it to be the strongest of swords to exist in One Piece and that might as well be true. It is an all black blade, meaning that it has been infused with Haki consistently over time. It is possible that Yoru might have been one of the 21 Great Grade Swords prior to its blackening and that it was taken to a whole new level once blackening was achieved.

For now, all this is just conjecture, however, in time, fans will definitely get to see more of Yoru and its creation. This weapon appears to be one that specializes in grace. Mihawk has shown graceful slashes being utilized by this weapon and that just goes to show how incredibly it truly is.

One of the former Yonko, Whitebeard was the wielder of the famous Murakumogiri, a blade known to be one of the 12 Supreme Grade swords in One Piece. It is unknown when exactly Whitebeard got his hands on this weapon, however, during his time with the Rocks Pirates, he already had a Naginata.

One Piece’s Most Dangerous Villain Has a Terrifying Ability

Blackbeard looks to be Luffy's biggest challenge in his journey to find One Piece. Here's what makes him so dangerous.

When Whitebeard fought Roger in the Grand Line, he was seen making use of this weapon by imbuing it with both Armament and Conqueror's Haki. In Marineford, this weapon was once again used for most of his techniques. Along with Haki, Whitebeard could also imbue it with the power of the Gura Gura no Mi and channel it through the naginata, making him an even more dangerous fighter than he already was.

Whitebeard's Supreme Grade Weapon - Murakumogiri

Murakumogiri was only recently confirmed to be a Supreme Grade Weapon, however, the vast majority of the fans expected it to be of a very high class from the get-go. This is because Whitebeard is a Yonko and a pirate who had a 5 billion beri bounty. For such a powerful fighter, having a weapon of this class was absolutely needed.

Murakumogiri isn't a sword but it certainly does classify as a blade. Fans have seen the durability and the strength of this blade on several occasions. For instance, Whitebeard was able to stop a meteor with his blade without it being scratched. Furthermore, he can also cause large-scale destruction with this blade when he infuses it with his quake Devil Fruit as well as his Haki. This blade could sink the entire island of Marineford if Whitebeard let loose and that just goes to show how truly fearsome this Supreme Grade Weapon really is.

5 V. Nusjuro

Sword: Shodai Kitetsu

One Piece St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

Thanks to the Final Saga of One Piece, fans finally have the name of all the Five Elders and, the most intriguing one of them all is Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro. He's the bald member of the Five Elders who appears to be exceptionally skilled with his sword. All the fans know that he wields the Shodai Kitetsu, which is a famous blade known to be one of the Supreme Grade Swords. This supreme grade sword is believed to be the strongest of the Kitetsu line, which are known to bring terrible luck to their wielders as well as horrific death.

Of course, cursed swords are just swords that demand a strong user, as confirmed by Kozaburo. As such, Nusjuro having this sword is only an indication of the fact that he is immensely overpowered and worthy of controlling the strongest Kitetsu blade. With this Supreme Grade Weapon at his side, one can see why he is one of the strongest people in the entire world of One Piece. It shouldn't be a surprise to the fans if his level of strength is higher than that of the Yonko.

Nusjuro's Supreme Grade Weapon - Shodai Kitetsu

Fans haven't seen much of the Shodai Kitetsu at all. So far, only the appearance of this sword has been revealed to the fans. All of its abilities remain unknown. However, given that it belongs to the Kitetsu line, the powers that it possesses shouldn't be all that different when compared to the other Kitetsu, only much greater. Zoro has previously labeled the Kitetsu to be a problem child and commented on the bloodthirst of this sword. Essentially, this logic is going to apply to the Shodai Kitetsu as well.

Since this is the finest of all the Kitetsu swords, it only makes sense for this Supreme Grade Sword to be even more bloodthirsty. This sword has likely soaked up the blood of countless enemies over the years and fans will most definitely see its terrible powers when V. Nusjuro is called into action in the Final Saga of One Piece.

He was also an unbeatable fighter, with Whitebeard being the only man alive known to have tied a fight with him, although it must be noted that Roger himself was ill.

To match up to the other greats of the One Piece world, Roger wielded one of the Supreme Grade swords called Ace. This sword was seen being used in his fight against both Kozuki Oden and then Whitebeard. Roger mostly used it to channel both Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki to strengthen his attacks. When he fought Oden, Roger used Ace to launch a wave of Conqueror's Haki towards him and against Whitebeard, he used his Conqueror's Haki to match up to the attack launched by Whitebeard.

3 Shanks

Sword: Gryphon

One Piece Whitebeard and Shanks clash

Shanks is another one of the Yonko of the One Piece world and an incredibly powerful pirate. With a bounty of 4,048,900,000 berries, Shanks is just as strong as the other Yonko in the story. During his early life, he dueled Mihawk on countless occasions and earned great fame for himself. Shanks is currently in possession of a saber called Gryphon.

Although the sword isn't confirmed to be one of the Supreme Grade swords, it likely belongs to the rank as well, given that the likes of Roger and Whitebeard had Supreme Grade blades as well. In the upcoming arcs, fans will likely see more focus being thrown on Shanks and how he uses Gryphon in combat.

Shanks's Presumed Supreme Grade Weapon - Gryphon

Shanks possesses a powerful blade called Gryphon that is most definitely a Supreme Grade Weapon. Even though this sword hasn't been confirmed to be Supreme Grade, a Yonko wielding anything less as their main weapon is highly unlikely. It is unknown if Gryphon possesses any special powers or not. However, Shanks was able to use his Conqueror's Haki remotely in conjunction with his sword.

He was able to channel his Haki from several miles and attack his targets. Whether this was made possible through Gryphon or if this is an ability that Shanks has on his own remains to be seen. Nonetheless, Gryphon is exceptionally sharp as it was able to withstand blows from Murakumogiri. It was also able to stop Akainu's magma as if it were nothing.

2 Roronoa Zoro (Future Wielder)

Sword: Enma

One Piece Zoro using Enma

Enma is one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords that was recently introduced in the Wano country arc of One Piece. It was formerly wielded by Kozuki Oden and was passed on to Kozuki Hiyori, his daughter, after his death. This sword was then given to Roronoa Zoro in exchange for Shusui. While the sword is certainly not a Supreme Grade sword yet, it also hasn't blackened.

According to Kozuki Sukiyaki, a sword's rank increases once it blackens. As such, this sword can eventually turn into a Supreme Grade Weapon as well. Under Zoro, it is a given that the sword will get repeatedly coated in Armament and Conqueror's Haki. By the end of the series, it will certainly have blackened and potentially ascended to the next level.

1 Kozuki Momonosuke (Future Wielder)

Sword: Ame No Habakiri

Kozuki Momonosuke Shogun of Wano

Ame no Habakiri is yet another one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords in the One Piece world. Just like Enma, it was also wielded by Kozuki Oden ever since his childhood. This sword is known to hold the power to pierce even the heavens themselves. After Oden's death, it was supposed to be passed down to Kozuki Momonosuke, who currently wields it.

As with every sword in the One Piece world, it can also be blackened with the usage of Armament Haki. That would certainly increase its rank and make it one of the Supreme Grade swords, just as Enma would with Zoro. Since Ame no Habakiri is wielded by the greatest Shogun in Wano's history, it would only make sense for this weapon to blacken in the future.
