The One Piece anime returned with another stellar episode, featuring the Straw Hat Pirates and CP-0. From last week's preview, it was clear that the anime was going to produce an episode that would make everyone's jaw drop on the floor. After a short recap, the Seraphim started their assault on Luffy and Zoro. S-Hawk led the attack, and he used his Devil Fruit ability to launch one deadly attack after another, which resulted in widespread destruction.

Zoro recognized that S-Hawk had the same Devil Fruit as Daz Bones. Following the observation, S-Hawk began to attack again, and the whole sequence was beautifully animated. Vincent Chansard's magical touch was in effect yet again, as it helped the scene reach a whole new level, topping the level set by the manga. The lines, the frames, and the fluid animation were breathtaking.

The Alliance Is Formed

Due to carrying the two CP-0 agents, Luffy and Zoro's stamina was being depleted at a high rate. Kaku brought up the idea of forming an alliance, which was swiftly rejected by Zoro. However, after a while, it became clear that it was better to uncuff Lucci and Kaku and have them fight the Seraphim. The decision fell on Luffy's shoulders, and he chose to free the two assassins. The Seraphim were not waiting around, and this time S-Bear launched an attack on the group. Luckily, the two CP-0 agents were freed in the nick of time.

Once they were liberated, they formed two teams. Luffy and Lucci took on S-Bear, while Zoro and Kaku targeted S-Hawk. Zoro and Kaku were able to land their attacks on S-Hawk, which stopped the Seraphim. Meanwhile, Lucci and Luffy used their Devil Fruit powers against S-Bear. Luffy entered Gear 4th while Lucci used his hybrid form to attack, which sent S-Bear flying. Naotoshi Shida, an animation virtuoso, did Luffy and Lucci's transformation and attack sequences.

The Country Of Giants

Shanks and Red hair Pirates from One Piece

In One Piece Episode 1109, fans also saw Elbaf, which is the homeland of the giants. It was revealed that Shanks, one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, was on the island and dealing with a kid who wanted to join the Red Hair Pirates. This was reminiscent of when a young Luffy insisted on joining the crew. Their celebrations were interrupted by Rockstar, who brought news about Eustass Kid attacking the fleet. The top officers were eager to engage Kid and his crew, but Shanks wanted to give the young pirate another chance. He was open to Kid handing over the Road Poneglyph and leaving.

However, Kid did not show any signs of backing down. Killer warned him that the Red Hair Pirates would not let him have his, but Kid simply answered that it would only happen if he lost.

Franky petrified by S-Snake in One Piece

One Piece Episode 1110 will be released on June 30, 2024. It is titled "Survive! Deadly Combat With The Strongest Form Of Humanity." The episode will focus on the Straw Hat Pirates as they try to defend themselves from the onslaught of the Seraphim. From the looks of it, half of Franky's body is petrified by S-Snake. This puts him at great risk as his movement will be restricted, forcing him to rely on others for help. If S-Snake lands a hit on Franky's petrified body, it will be lights out for the pirate.

The Attack Continues

Kaku from One Piece

Luffy, Lucci, Zoro, and Kaku will still be busy trying to stop the Seraphim, who have insane endurance. Dr. Vegapunk made sure that his weapons were the strongest form of humanity. The four fighters will have to go all out if they want to put an end to the Seraphim's rampage. In the previous episode, Sanji left Jimbei behind to look for Nami as he sensed that she was in danger. Nami is not a weakling, but she cannot beat a Seraphim on her own. Sanji will have to reach the scene on time to save her from the Seraphim. It also seems that Edison, another satellite of Dr. Vegapunk, suffers some damage at the hands of a Seraphim.

Where Is Vegapunk?

S-Hawk from One Piece

Among all the chaos, Dr. Vegapunk's whereabouts remain a mystery. The scientist vanished unexpectedly, causing widespread panic. His disappearance means that the Straw Hats cannot leave the island just yet. They will have to look for him and make sure that he is alive and well. However, their jobs have become a lot harder due to the Seraphim. The weapons have been attacking everyone on the island, including the satellites, making it extremely difficult for the heroes to focus on finding Vegapunk.
