However, Egghead is very close to its conclusion now, and fans are incredibly excited to see the conclusion of this arc and more importantly, the beginning of one of the most anticipated arcs in the entire series, the Elbaf arc. Now, it appears that a proper release window for Elbaf has already been revealed, and the arc could start sooner than expected.

The Egghead Island arc has been going on for quite a while now, and it has been incredibly exciting for all the fans. This story arc has been filled with incredible moments, such as major battles and, at the same time, shocking revelations. It is safe to say that Egghead has far surpassed the expectations of every fan. This is because this arc was supposed to be the very beginning of the Final Saga, and usually, the first arcs are not expected to be the most intense ones. Yet, Oda went ahead and showed the fans that the Final Saga is a different gravy compared to the others and that it is going to amp up the intensity right from the very beginning. This excites the fans much more about what is to come, and as the climax of Egghead Island is being tackled, fans are already looking forward to what comes next.

Fans are ready to jump to Elbaf, however, they need to consider what is going on on Egghead right now, and what is going to happen from here onwards. It is safe to say that the Five Elders and the World Government have faced a terrible defeat on Egghead Island. This is because Vegapunk, despite dying, has caused them collateral damage and unveiled the massive truth about the sinking of the world to everyone. If that wasn't enough, then fans should consider the fact that he is likely going to reveal more details about the Void Century as well, especially given the fact that he has been studying Poneglyphs for quite a while now. At the same time, it is highly likely that the Five Elders will fail at taking down the Straw Hat Pirates, Kuma, Bonney, or any major character that is currently running riot on Egghead.
These characters will most definitely escape successfully from the island, which will mark another failure for the Elders. Sooner rather than later, the Egghead Island arc will end, and fans will get to see an exciting getaway to Elbaf, which is likely going to be later this year.

Shonen Jump Confirms The Elbaf Release Window
Elbaf is incredibly close now, and this shouldn't come as a shock to any fans. Towards the end of last year, during Jump Festa 2024, Oda clearly mentioned that he is planning on starting the next Arc in 2024 at some point and that the Straw Hat Pirates’ next destination is likely going to be an island that is heavily anticipated by the fans. At the same time, Oda also mentioned that he has an alternative path for the Straw Hat Pirates as well. However, stopping Luffy in his tracks is incredibly difficult. This already gave the fans the idea that Oda will be looking to start the Elbaf Arc in 2024. This is what Oda had to say on Jump Festa 2024:
I'll keep working hard on the manga as well, but this past year, many characters have faced many events. Truly a terrifying world! If Luffy and the others can leave Egghead safely... they should be going to THAT island. I also considered not taking that route, but I may not be able to stop Luffy. And finally, at last, it'll happen. The battle between that character and that character may lead to unexpected results!! Onward to next year, alongside the 25TH anniversary of the One Piece anime!! Clearly, Oda is planning for the next arc to begin in 2024. This has now been reaffirmed by the official Shonen Jump website as well, which has now marked the release of figurines from Elbaf for November 2024. This means that by November, the Straw Hat Pirates will already be in the land of Elbaf, and a new arc will already be on the way.

This is an unintentional giveaway on the part of the Shonen Jump people; however, it is one that doesn't really affect things all that much, given that every fan knows that Elbaf is the next arc in the story and Oda has already confirmed that he wants to end the Egghead arc this year. As such, by the end of the year, fans should fully expect to be in the land of the Giant Warriors, Elbaf.
When Will Elbaf Really Begin?

Of course, while Oda has already mentioned that the next arc will be at some point in 2024, and the Shonen Jump website seems to have confirmed it, there are many factors that need to be considered here. The first thing that fans need to consider is that the Egghead Island Arc is in its very climax. Going off of that, fans can rest assured that the chances for the Egghead Island arc to end in 2024 are very high. This means that the story will see the beginning of the Elbaf arc this year. However, it may not be November.
Fans need to take into consideration the fact that if Elbaf begins in November, the figurines will not come out at the same time. In order for the figurines to come out, there needs to be a buildup of at least a few chapters before that happens. In that case, fans need to take into consideration that Elbaf will begin at least 1 to 2 months before November. Anywhere between late August to late September would be the perfect time for the arc to begin. This is highly likely going to be the time frame for this new arc to kickstart.
Of course, then, there also exists the possibility of Oda facing many delays and getting new ideas to elaborate upon the ending of Egghead. This is very unlikely. However, it is still a possibility. In that case, Elbaf might be pushed to 2025. Once again, this is a possibility that has a slim chance of coming true, but it could very well happen nonetheless. Regardless of what ends up happening, there is no denying the fact that the Egghead Island arc is incredibly close to its conclusion now and that the fans will get to see the beginning of a new arc very soon, likely a few months later.
