The Shichibukai, also known as the Seven Warlords of the Sea, were powerful pirates in the One Piece world who were affiliated with the World Government. In exchange for their allegiance to the Government, they were given freedom to roam the seas and do whatever they pleased.
In return, they were to answer the Government in their time of need and help them curb the Golden Age of Piracy. The Shichibukai are no longer in effect, however, they are still very much active in the One Piece world. These powerful pirates have possessed some incredible Devil Fruits, some of which rank among the strongest in the entire world.
8 Bari Bari no Mi
The Bari Bari no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit eaten by Buggy. This fruit allows him to chop up his body into several parts and control them as he wishes within a certain radius.
Buggy also becomes impervious to slash-based attacks with this Devil Fruit. While it is not the strongest of Devil Fruits, it is still unique and certainly one that Buggy makes great use of. When compared to the others, however, it is certainly lackluster.
7 Kage Kage no Mi
The Kage Kage no Mi is also a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit eaten by Gecko Moria. This Devil Fruit allows Moria to control shadows at will. This fruit is incredibly overpowered and gives Moria the ability to either absorb shadows and become powerful, or, store shadows in other bodies, making them his servant in the process.
This Devil Fruit can also revive dead people by giving shadows to them. Furthermore, using the shadows that he can manipulate, Moria can also create weapons, such as giant spears.
6 Ito Ito no Mi
The Ito Ito no Mi was eaten by Doflamingo and it is certainly one of the most powerful Paramecia Devil Fruits seen in One Piece. This fruit gives him the ability to create as well as manipulate strings at will. These strings are incredibly tough, capable of cutting through stone and, at the same time, very sharp.
Doflamingo can use these strings in a variety of ways and his usage of this Devil Fruit reached a point where he managed to awaken it. The Ito Ito no Mi is certainly one of the best Shichibukai Devil Fruits seen in One Piece.
5 Suna Suna no Mi
The Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit eaten by Sir Crocodile. This Devil Fruit allows Crocodile to become sand itself, as well as produce and manipulate it according to his will. This fruit is extremely deadly as it can dehydrate a person with a mere touch, rendering them useless in battle within seconds.

The user can also make contact with intangible things such as emotions, pain, and even memories. The usage of this Devil Fruit depends upon the user, however, it is certainly one of the strongest Shichibukai Devil Fruits in One Piece.
3 Ope Ope no Mi
Also known as the Ultimate Devil Fruit, the Ope Ope no Mi is one of the Paramecia fruits in the series. This fruit is currently wielded by the former Shichibukai, Trafalgar Law. It is a very powerful fruit that gives Law the ability to create ROOMs, within which he can manipulate anything and everything according to as well.
Everyone within his ROOMs is technically a patient on his operating table. When paired with the incredible medicinal knowledge that law possesses, this fruit becomes extremely dangerous. Awakening pushes the power of this fruit to the next level. Furthermore, this fruit possesses very dangerous powers, one which lets the user swap personalities, and the other that grants immortality to someone else at the cost of the user's life.
2 Mero Mero no Mi
The Mero Mero no Mi is one of the most overpowered Devil Fruits and it also belongs to the Paramecia class. Eaten by the Snake Empress, Boa Hancock, this fruit allows her to petrify both animate and inanimate things. Most things can be petrified by Hancock if they show any sign of attraction towards her, ranging from lust to mere admiration and heartwarming feelings.
This fruit can also petrify inanimate objects, such as cyborgs, weapons, and ships, among other things, making it one of the most dangerous Shichibukai Devil Fruits to ever exist.
1 Yami Yami no Mi
Undoubtedly, the strongest Shichibukai Devil Fruit seen in One Piece belongs to Blackbeard. The Yami Yami no Mi was the only Devil Fruit that he had when he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. This Devil Fruit is believed to be the most sinister ability to ever exist.
It gives Blackbeard absolute control over darkness and, through that, infinite gravity. It can absorb everything, including the Devil Fruit power of other users, which is why this Devil Fruit is as dangerous as it is.
