He was also one of their strongest fighters, and one who could even hold Dracule Mihawk at bay during the Paramount War arc.
Zoro, at this point in time, should be strong enough to take him down and, given that he has unlocked abilities such as the power of Conqueror's Haki Infusion, he should be able to take down Flower Sword Vista in combat. Right now, it is a fair assumption to say that Zoro has already surpassed him.
4 Katakuri

Charlotte Katakuri is the strongest of the Three Sweet Commanders of Big Man Pirates, and of course, he is a man who holds a position similar to that of Zoro in the Straw Hat Pirates. He has a 1.057 billion berries bounty on his head. Zoro, in the meanwhile, has acquired a 1.111 billion berry bounty himself.
Katakuri is in the same league as the likes of Zoro and a fight against him would be very difficult for the Straw Hat swordsman. However, just as he was able to overcome King, he would also be able to overcome Katakuri in combat. This fight would most certainly be harder for Zoro, however, given that landing blows on Katakuri is very difficult for him and, at the same time, Zoro is on limited time when it comes to using his King of Hell Three Sword Style.
3 Shiryu

He was once the Head Jailer of Impel Down, and now, he is one of Blackbeard's strongest underlings. In fact, Oda has clearly said that he is the number two of the Blackbeard Pirate crew, which makes him an enemy of Zoro.

Doflamingo can cut things up using his strings, and fans know his abilities to be quite dangerous. Right now, Zoro has reached a level where he can fight against Doflamingo and overpower him in combat, and that goes without saying. Doflamingo would have been quite a good opponent for Zoro to take on at one point, however, now, Zoro is far above his level, and, as a result, it is not fair to compare these individuals.

Rob Lucci is one of the strongest individuals that Zoro has ever traded blows with. In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Lucci is one of his toughest opponents of all time. Currently, these individuals are engaging in combat on Egghead. It is clear for the fans to see that Lucci is holding his own against him very well and, at the same time, is also dominant in this fight.
While he is certainly keeping Zoro at bay, it shouldn't be a surprise for the fans to know that if Zoro shows everything that he has, he should be able to beat Lucci, although with quite a lot of difficulty. These two individuals are around the same level of strength, with Zoro being slightly stronger, provided he goes all out.
