One piece is finally in its end game and the Final Saga of the series is well underway, having already seen great havoc being wreaked on the ocean by some of the strongest people in the world.
Oda described the Final Saga to be a free for all battle royale which means several of these contenders will end up falling. Deaths have always been a part of One Piece, and the Final Saga of One Piece is going to be no different. Characters are going to die here and some of them already have huge Death flags on their heads.
7 Usopp
Usopp is the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates and the character that every fan of One Piece holds close to their heart. He wants to become a Brave Warrior of the Sea, and previously, on Little Garden, Usopp exclaimed that he wants to look back and say that he is "Usopp, the brave warrior of the sea," as he dies.
Fans already know that much of what Usopp says comes true. At the same time, Usopp is also the fourth member to join the crew, and the number four is heavily associated with death itself. He has several death flags on his head already and could very well end up dying.
6 Kuzan
Kuzan is a former Admiral of the Navy who ended up joining the Blackbeard Pirates and became their 10th Titanic Captain. At his heart, Kuzan follows Lazy Justice and while he doesn't appear to be a bad person, he is currently serving Blackbeard, who fans know very well is a very cruel villain.
Fans know Kuzan to be one of the most likable marines and for that reason, he might end up going against Blackbeard at some point in the future. If that does happen, then Kuzan is surely going to die and possibly even have his Devil Fruit stolen.
5 Eustass Kid
Eustass Kid is a member of the Worst Generation who is in the fight for the One Piece, or was, until recently. Kid received a 3 billion beri bounty in Wano, however, shortly after that, he and his crew were completely dismantled by Shanks alone.
Kid is no longer a pirate at the moment, however, if he does return, fans could see him get humiliated once again and this time, he wouldn't return ever. Fans already know that Kid will fail in fulfilling his dreams as there can only be one Pirate King and that title will go to Luffy.
4 Trafalgar Law
Just like Kid, Law also has several death flags on his head already. Law recently lost a battle against Blackbeard and was only saved by Bepo. While he is alive, he still has a Devil Fruit that is highly wanted in the One Piece world.
Furthermore, this Devil Fruit can also grant immortality in the story and, for that reason, many people would be after Law and this fruit itself. Fans have surely not seen the last of Law and a character like him will always have death flags all over him until the very end of the story.
3 Sabo
Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and Luffy's older brother. He is renowned all over the world as the Flame Emperor. Sabo is currently one of the most wanted people in the entire world as he has found out the truth about both the Five Elders and Imu.
For this reason alone, Sabo has several death flags on his head. If that wasn't enough, Sabo is also Luffy's brother, and with Ace already dead, fans know that Oda wouldn't hesitate to kill off yet another brother if he wanted to. While that would be devastating for the fans, it is, at the end of the day, a very real possibility.
2 Shanks
Shanks is one of the most popular One Piece characters and the captain of the Red Hair Pirates. He is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, just like Luffy and he's also one of the idols that Luffy looks up to.
Shanks has a bitter rivalry with Blackbeard and the two will eventually clash at some point in the story. The red-haired Yonko has always had death flags all over him and that isn't going to change in the Final Saga, especially now that he's more prominent in the series than ever before.
1 Garp
Garp is one of the legendary figures in the world of One Piece. Renowned all over the world as Garp the Hero, he was seen recently engaging the Blackbeard Pirates in combat at the Pirate Island. Garp managed to rescue all the slaves, as well as his apprentice, Koby.
He also ended up fighting against his former apprentice, Kuzan, who played a significant role in defeating Garp. At the end of it, Garp was severely injured and frozen by Kuzan. He appears to be in a near-death state, however, people have previously survived Kuzan's devil fruit, as was the case with Saul. His current fate remains unknown, however, it is very much possible that he will die in the Final Saga.
