The world of One Piece holds many mysteries that the fans want to know the answer to yet and the Ancient Weapons are certainly a few of them. The first mention of these weapons came after the Straw Hat Pirates entered the Grand Line and sailed to the land of Arabasta, which was ruled by Nefertari Cobra. Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, was eyeing one of the Ancient Weapons there and that is when the fans first got to know about their existence. As the story moved forward, fans found out more about them, especially in the Enies Lobby arc and, since then, it's been established that these weapons will come into play at one point or another in the end game of the series.

So far, the story has already introduced two of the three Ancient Weapons. In the Enies Lobby arc, the existence of the Pluton was made known. This was followed by Poseidon being revealed during the Fishman Island arc. This leaves Uranus, which is the last of the three Ancient Weapons to have been used in the Void Century. So far, very little is known about it, however, fans might just have gotten a glimpse of its powers.

What Are The Ancient Weapons?

One Piece Princess Shirahoshi Mermaid Ancient Weapons

The Ancient Weapons are generally considered to be powerful tools that were created during the Void Century for the very first time. It is believed that these weapons were used in the war against the 20 Kings which later on ended up creating the World Government. These weapons are tools of mass destruction and it is believed that they hold the power to destroy the entire world. In the Arabasta arc, Oda made it known that the pluton was a warship a single shot from which was strong enough to wipe out an entire island and vaporize it with ease. In the Fishman Island arc, it was made known that Poseidon, unlike the Pluton, was a real person – a mermaid with the power to destroy the entire world. With her ability, she could swallow whole islands by controlling the Sea Kings.

In many ways, the Ancient Weapons are more powerful than even the likes of the Yonko or any other legendary figure in the One Piece world. The Uranus, much like the other two is also a weapon of mass destruction. It goes without saying that this weapon will also carry the power to wipe out Islands and destroy the world if the user so wishes. The fact that Oda left the Uranus to be revealed at the end means that it could certainly be the most intriguing of all the three weapons. The ancient weapons have, since the Void Century, been in slumber. The Pluton lies underneath Wano Country and Poseidon was only recently born again. The whereabouts of the Uranus, at the moment, remain unknown, however, it is also a given that this weapon hasn't been revealed to the world population.

Where Is The Uranus?

As all the Ancient Weapons were used by the people of the Ancient Kingdom, one would assume that it is an ally of the kingdom that currently holds this weapon, similar to how Wano Country holds Pluton and Fishman Island holds Poseidon. Both of them are, in some way, linked to Joy Boy, who was one of the major figures in the war against the 20 Kings. However, it is also possible for the Uranus to be within the grasp of the World Government. In fact, it is likelier, given that if Luffy and his allies have all three weapons, the war would be extremely one-sided. At the same time, the World Government would need equal firepower to combat the likes of Pluton and Poseidon.

As such, the Uranus could very well be in the possession of the government itself. In One Piece 1060, fans might already have seen a glimpse of this Ancient Weapon. If the Uranus is in possession of the World Government, the person who likely controls it would be none other than Imu, the King of the World. Such a power with only be befitting them. After all, Imu is the ultimate villain of the story. In fact, in the reverie arc, it was implied that Imu held the power to wipe out any country that they wanted.

The Powers Of The Uranus

It goes without saying that the Uranus is an incredibly powerful Ancient Weapon. According to Greek mythology, the Uranus is the personification of the sky. Fans already know that the Pluton is a warship and can be considered the ruler of lands. At the same time, the Poseidon rules the seas as all the Sea Kings together can destroy the entire world. The Uranus, thus, would be the ruler of the skies. As such, this weapon would likely be capable of flight and hold the power to destroy the world from above. Fans saw something similar being used in One Piece 1060, when Imu use its powers to wipe out the Lulusia Kingdom.

By merely knowing Sabo's location, Imu marked an X over the map of the country. Shortly afterwards, a giant shadow was seen on the island, implying that something was hovering above it. From the cloudy sky, Imu shot several rays that ended up destroying the entire island and wiping it off the very face of the earth. This could very well be the Uranus itself. By the looks of it, the Uranus appears to be an airship. The fact that it is controlled by the ruler of the Celestial Dragons, who themselves hold the title of Gods, also ties well to Eneru, who called himself a god as well. Interestingly, Eneru had the power to wipe out anyone from the skies using El Thor by using his Observation Haki.

Furthermore, he also had a flying ship called Ark Maxim. The parallels between the two go a long way and just like Eneru had Ark Maxim, Imu could well have a spaceship with the power to destroy the entire world, called the Uranus. The power of the weapon has already been demonstrated in the series. While it has not been explicitly confirmed to be the Uranus, only the Ancient Weapons hold the power to destroy islands with a single blast. As such, fans have already seen the powers of this weapon. However, its appearance, along with much of its lore, remains to be revealed.
