One Piece chapter 1108 was, quite easily, one of the most exciting ones in the story that fans witnessed, and, at the same time, it was also one of the most shocking ones. This chapter focused heavily on the Egghead War that is currently raging on, and gave fans a glimpse of quite a few points of view.

Fans got to see what the Marines surrounding egghead were up to, and at the same time, a lot of focus was thrown on the likes of Vegapuno, and of course, Luffy and his enemies as well. Furthermore, the Giants, who recently arrived on Egghead, continued to make progress in One Piece chapter 1108, and all things considered, this chapter was certainly incredibly amazing, with a lot of key information being delivered to the fans.

Caribou's Knowledge Of The Ancient Weapons

One thing that fans were unsure about whether One Piece chapter 1108 would tackle is the case of Caribou and the Blackbeard Pirates. Usually, Oda is known to off-screen certain events, especially when they are events that fans are curious to see the unfurling of. Oda attempts to keep it a surprise for the fans, and then reveals it much later down the line. This time around, he broke his formula, somewhat. Oda showcased Caribou begging Augur and Catarina Devon to take him with them to meet Blackbeard. Then, fans got a proper refresher as to why he would be helpful to Blackbeard.

For those who do not remember, Caribou has information on two Ancient Weapons. The first one is the Mermaid Princess, also known as Shirahoshi. The second one is the Ancient Weapon Pluton, which is a giant warship that appears to be hidden under the water in Wano. Caribou holds information on these two incredible weapons, and that is what makes him one of the most dangerous people in the One Piece world.

Caribou most definitely has to meet Blackbeard as the story progresses, and then, he will pass on his knowledge to him, which would then set up exciting events for the future of the story. It might be strange for some fans to accept it, however, it cannot be denied that Caribou has played a subtle yet very important role in One Piece, especially as of late.

Dorry and Brogy Join The Battle

The Giant Pirates were seen arriving on Egghead Island rather recently, and One Piece chapter 1108 gave them some screen time as well. The Giant Pirates had already made landfall, and they continued towards their target, which is Sun God Luffy, in this chapter. The Giants even assisted all the people in trouble on Egghead. For instance, Franky and his group safely made it to the edge of the island, where the Giants helped them out.

While all this was impressive, Brogy essentially ended up saving the life of Jewelry Bonney, as she was chased by a powerful Vice Admiral of the Navy, Tosa. Thanks to Brogy, this threat was dealt with rather easily, and the marine was completely crushed as well. All the other Vice Admirals are certainly making their move as well. Previously, they were asked to return to their ships, which they would then attack from. However, now, things are different. The Vice Admirals are told to enter Egghead after pulling back their ships and join the battle. As such, in One Piece chapter 1108, they had no choice but to try to get back on the island and fight for the control of the Pacifistas.

The target for the Vice Admirals is none other than Bonney. Fans know that Bonney is the key to the Pacifistas at the moment. She is incredibly overpowered in terms of her abilities, however, she has even more importance attached to her character, especially since she can control every single Pacifista that looks like Kuma. As seen in One Piece chapter 1108, Dorry and Brogy are continuing to make their way towards Luffy. Luffy is quite strong, however, he would certainly benefit from some backup in the form of the giants of Elbaf.

Saturn's New Transformation

Saint Jaygarcia Saturn was expected to make a big impression in One Piece's Egghead Island arc over the course of the last few chapters, and thankfully, this week's chapter finally saw him deliver. Saturn was seen transforming from his man-beast form to a complete beast form, which was nothing short of extraordinary. In his case, this beast form is of an awakened fruit user. Strangely enough, Saturn seems to have a maniacal look in his eyes, which might be signifying the fact that he has lost his mind to his Devil Fruit awakening.

Vegapunk had previously mentioned that Zoan Devil Fruit Awakenings are somewhat different from the others, as the animalistic instinct of the fruit can take over the user's own willpower at times. Furthermore, this ties in very well with the fact that Zoan fruits have a will of their own, which was mentioned in the Wano Country Arc of One Piece. In the case of Saturn, it appears that he might have let his Devil Fruit consume him because he needs the extra power right now to take down Luffy. Either that, or it is simply down to the fact that Saturn just looks like that in his full beast form, which would be interesting, to say the least.

Regardless, he was seen utilizing different powers of his Devil Fruit in this chapter, and they were certainly surprising to many fans. For one, Saturn was seen being capable of using venom, which coated his entire body. Anything that he touches got instantly obliterated by the venom. Furthermore, he could also utilize his legs as whips, as seen when he was attacking both Luffy and Sanji at the same time. These whips move almost like Luffy's very own rubber arms, and their power was absolutely incredible. That said, Saturn was not able to do any substantial damage to either Luffy, or anyone else on the island. Regardless, he remains a threat still.

Vegapunk's Dying Words

While Saturn was not able to hit Vegapunk, Kizaru certainly was. He stabbed Vegapunk right through his gut, and this proved to be another fatal injury for him. It appears that Vegapunk is finally losing his breath and slowly dying, which has certainly turned out to be a shocker in this arc.

Before he dies, however, Vegapunk has his dying words broadcast to the entire world. Towards the end of the chapter, Vegapunk's message officially began, and this message is addressed to the entire world, which means that whatever he has to say will be heard by everyone, and fans are gearing themselves for a massive reveal by Dr Vegapunk next week in One Piece.
