One Piece's previous chapter proved to be quite incredible as Oda delivered what could be described as the best chapter since the conclusion of the Wano Country arc. As such, all eyes are currently on One Piece 1061. After all the drama on Amazon Lily was finally covered by Oda, fans got to see the Straw Hats sailing towards a new island. On the way, Luffy found out about Sabo and Vivi's situation and, at the same time, declared his dream to the entire crew. Furthermore, the Straw Hat Pirates entered the climate zone of a winter Island.
At the same time, fans also got to see Sabo talking to the Revolutionary Army in the previous chapter. Following his escape from Mariejois, Sabo finally talked to Dragon and let the entire army know that he was not the one who killed Cobra. Furthermore, he also sighted Imu and let his comrades know about their existence. Before being able could reveal everything, however, Imu used their power to wipe out the Lulusia Kingdom from the face of the earth. One Piece 1061 is all set to follow up on these events.
One Piece 1061: The Straw Hats On A New Island
One Piece 1061 will most certainly see the Straw Hat Pirates land on a new island. In the previous chapter, fans saw the crew entering the climate zone of a new Island. At the same time, the crew also changed their clothes accordingly, implying that they would get to land very soon. Fans have been wondering about what adventure the Straw Hat Pirates will have next and the answer to that will most certainly be provided in the next chapter. Some very popular guesses about their next destination were Elbaf and Sphinx Island, however, the next island doesn't look like it is going to be either of the two. The Straw Hat Pirates are all set to go to a winter island, which neither of those two is.
As such, the next island could very well be a completely new one. It is likely that the crew will come across either new information on the Road Ponegliff or one of the major happenings in the world, be it related to the Revolutionary Army, the Navy and the Kuja Pirates, or the case with Vivi. Undoubtedly, the next chapter of One Piece looks set to be very intriguing. As with every first chapter on a new island, the crew will most likely spend it exploring the territory. Therefore, fans should keep their expectations grounded for the next chapter as it won't be nearly as intense as the last one.
One Piece 1061: Sabo And Vivi's Fate
Two of the most important characters in the Final Saga of One Piece are going to be Sabo and Vivi, with Hancock being the third one that Oda teased as having great importance. Both Sabo and Vivi are central to the main plot at the moment. In the previous chapter, fans saw Sabo talk to his Revolutionary Army comrades and inform them about Imu's existence. Shortly afterwards, the entire island was blasted by the King of the World, leaving Sabo's fate up in the air.
For now, nobody knows what has happened to him, however, in the coming few chapters, possibly One Piece 1061, fans might find the answer to that question. Sabo certainly wouldn't have died. However, it is possible that he was incapacitated and later, captured by the World Government. At the same time, Vivi has already disappeared. Emu had his eyes on her and could very well be responsible for her kidnapping. Once again, One Piece 1061 might be the key to solving the mystery regarding Vivi. The Straw Hat Pirates, as fans know, would immediately head to her rescue when they find out about Vivi's position.
One Piece 1061: Edward Weevil's Case
Edward Weevil was promoted to the position of Shichibukai following him hunting down all the allies of the Whitebeard Pirates one by one. His threat was compared by Kizaru to a younger version of Whitebeard himself. Weevil remains to be the only member of the Shichibukai who has not appeared in the post-Wano chapters. Fans have already seen Mihawk, Buggy, Hancock, and even Kuma's case get resolved. Weevil, however, has not appeared in the story just yet. It is possible that One Piece 1061 will give fans their first glimpse of Edward Weevil and will lay the groundwork for an arc to be focused around him, or, at the very least, an arc where he has some sort of involvement.
Oda has previously mentioned that he has intriguing plans for him and, as such, fans should keep an eye out for this particular character to appear. At the same time, this could also tie into the Rocks Pirates themselves through Miss Bakkin, who claims to be the lover of Whitebeard. If she indeed was on Rocks' ship, fans will likely find out more lore about this pirate crew which once carried several legends. This could also tie to the God Valley Incident as Bakkin would have experienced that for herself.
When Will One Piece 1061 Release?
One Piece is not on any scheduled break this week. As such, Eiichiro Oda's manga is all set to drop its next chapter in the upcoming issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shounen Jump magazine. One Piece 1061 will release on September 25 according to Manga Plus. Fans can read the chapter for free on the MangaPlus and the Shonen Jump app.
