What To Expect From One Piece 1047
One Piece 1047 is likely going to pick up right from where the previous one left off. The final panel of the previous chapter saw Luffy in his giant form rising to the skies and grabbing lightning itself to attack Kaido, who looked rather ecstatic to see what the former was capable of. The next chapter is most likely going to show fans how Luffy uses the lightning bolt to attack Kaido. Given that Yonko is known for his durability, it is more than likely that he will attempt to tank the blow. While Luffy's attack is certainly incredibly powerful, it isn't strong enough to defeat Kaido completely, even when he's on his last legs.
However, Kaido is most certainly going to take quite a lot of damage following the attack. This ties up well with him using the Flame Clouds to lift Onigashima. If Kaido weakens further, Onigashima is likely going to fall, meaning it is up to Momonosuke to hold the island up using his own Flame Clouds. It is highly likely that this will happen in One Piece chapter 1047, especially since Kaido would now want to use whatever strength he has remaining to defeat Luffy for good in a fair fight. Whether he'll be successful in doing so or not remains to be seen, however, in order for him to overpower Luffy, he needs to stop using the Flame Clouds that are keeping Onigashima flying.
One Piece Chapter 1047 To Show Kaido's Awakening?
One Piece 1047 could further focus on awakening as Kaido might get to tap into its powers at last. Kaido is exceptionally powerful so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he has awakened the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu as well. In the previous chapter, fans saw Kaido explaining the process of awakening to Luffy. According to him, once the user's mind and body have fully caught up with the Devil Fruit power, awakening takes place. Evidently, Kaido would only know this if he's an awakened Devil Fruit user himself. He previously used Shuron Hakke, an ability that allowed him to tap into the many forms that his Devil Fruit offers.
