In a recent announcement, the official account of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine confirmed that Norgami would be ending with its next volume. The manga released its 26th volume in February 2023, and the 27th and final volume will be released toward the end of 2023.

The news is not surprising at all, considering the manga has entered its final arc. Adachitoka have worked extremely hard on the series, and it is great to see that they will be bringing an end to Yato's excellent story. The quality of the writing has always been high, which has helped the series attract more fans. Even though the manga is ending, fans will be happy to see the story reach its proper conclusion, as many others have had the misfortune of never being finished.

The manga started serializing in the Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2010. Adachitoka's manga has also received two anime adaptations; the first came out in 2014, and the second premiered in 2015. The first season had 12 episodes, while the subsequent season had 13.

Both seasons received a great degree of critical acclaim, but sadly, there have been no new announcements about another season. Fans will be hoping that the rest of the manga also gets adapted into an anime series, so they can enjoy their favorite series. At the moment, there is no news about a new season, but it would be foolish to rule out the possibility entirely. There is a chance that there could be an announcement toward the end of the year about a new season of the anime. In addition to the anime, Noragami has also inspired two stage plays, which were released in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Yato looking glum

Noragami follows the life of Yato, a homeless god who wanders throughout the world. He is different from the rest of the gods in that he does not have a shrine or any followers. Due to the lack of options, Yato decides to start a service to help people in need. He charges them a fee that he hopes to use to build himself a temple. Yato's life changes completely when he meets a middle school student, Hiyori Iki, who is involved in a bus accident. When she learns about Yato's service, she decides to pay his fee and asks him to fix her body. Obviously, Yato does not have a choice, so he takes the money. This leads to a fascinating adventure that encompasses several themes.
