It's been 10 years since No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle launched on the Nintendo Wii, and it's safe to say Travis Touchdown fans are anxious to see the popular character make his long awaited return on the Switch. No More Heroes 3 is still due out for release in 2020, but much of the game has been kept secret. Unfortunately, it looks like that's going to continue being the case, as fans only got the briefest of looks at the game during the recent Devolver Direct presentation.

Even with E3 2020 canceled, Devolver Digital delivered yet another one of its bizarre, over-the-top digital presentations parodying video game industry marketing and the concept of E3 in general. During the credits, fans were able to spot Grasshopper Manufacturer's Suda51 playing No More Heroes 3, with the camera swinging around to show Travis Touchdown standing outside the franchise's frequently-seen motel.

Unfortunately, that's all that fans were able to see from No More Heroes 3 during the Devolver Direct presentation, but perhaps more information will come sooner rather than later. A Nintendo Direct is rumored for July or August, and if it takes place, it's possible Nintendo will reveal some more substantial information about the upcoming game, like maybe its release date.

But with how little we've seen of No More Heroes 3 so far, it wouldn't be terribly surprising if the game wound up delayed. Suda51 has taken a stance against crunch, meaning that he won't force his employees to work absurd hours just to make sure the game releases in 2020 either.

No More Heroes 3 is scheduled to launch in 2020, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
