Since its lackluster launch,  developer Hello Games has expanded on No Man's Sky to release more and more impressive features. Despite rumors that the space exploration game would come to the Nintendo Switch next, it appears that the game is releasing on Xbox Game Pass first.

This news follows a promise made in April by Hello Games founder Sean Murray, who said that Hello Games would be releasing "ambitious" updates this year. After teasing an Xbox Game Pass debut in early June, the developer followed through in a post made to the game's official website. While laying out the features of the game's latest update, Sean Murray also revealed that No Man's Sky would be coming to Xbox Game Pass on June 11, 2020.

On top of this surprise release, Murray elaborated further by also revealing that the game would be available on the Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox One and PC users. To line up with the announcement, Hello Games is releasing a Windows 10-compatible edition of No Man's Sky to the subscription program.

Although No Man's Sky players had reason to be concerned initially, Hello Games' consistent support of the game post-launch is incredibly reassuring. Hopefully, the developer will be able to follow through on the hype behind the "ambitious" new content coming this year.
