No Man's Sky players will have the opportunity to travel through space in the open-world game. They'll spend their time exploring new planets and crafting materials and resources. Aronium is a high-value material that players can use in several different recipes.

Unlike other rare minerals, Aronium is easily attainable by crafting it. Once players get some, they'll find it can be sold for a decently high price at Space Stations and Trade Terminals. Aronium can also be used to craft better quality things if players want to get even more Units, although it takes a little more time. This guide has everything they need to know about getting Aronium in No Man's Sky.

How to Get More Aronium in No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky

Aronium can be found naturally, crafted, or bought from a Galactic Trade Terminal in No Man's Sky. Galactic Trade Terminals are inside Space Stations, and the price depends on the region's demand for Aronium.

Aronium can be found in Resource Depots after players destroy one. A Depot is a group of five containers with varying resources inside them. There is a slight risk when destroying Resource Depots because players will earn a wanted status, and a Sentinel will be sent after them.

In addition to the trouble with the law, its natural spawn rate is low enough that gathering the materials to craft it is the easiest and cheapest way to collect it. Before players can prepare Aronium, they must get the blueprint for it.

Blueprints can be purchased at the Space Anomaly for 250 Nanite Clusters using a Synthesis Laboratory. Players must have the blueprints for Acid and Thermic Condensate to unlock Aronium. Aronium requires the following ingredients to craft:

  • Paraffinium - 50
  • Ionised Cobalt - 50

Parafinnium is found in natural deposits on tropical planets. Players can collect it using the Analysis Visor and the Terrain Manipulator. While approaching worlds, scan them before landing to see if they have Paraffinium.

Ionised Colbat is made by putting Cobalt inside a Refiner. Cobalt is like Paraffinium and appears on the surface of planets in a natural deposit. A Refiner is a piece of technology players can craft after getting the blueprint.

There are four kinds of Refiners: Portable Refiner and Small, Medium, and Large. They require fuel to work but produce higher value and more condensed versions of whatever element players put inside them. Aronium is worth 25,000 Units, but players can use it to craft more valuable elements.

No Man's Sky is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
