Nintendo is officially collaborating with the LEGO Group to create a set based on The Legend of Zelda franchise featuring the Great Deku Tree, which is already available for pre-purchase online. The Legend of Zelda easily stands out as one of the most renowned franchises within the gaming industry, and though many fans over the years have discussed the possibility of official LEGO sets based on the beloved series, the reveal of this particular set makes good on a popular leak that made headlines earlier this year.

Up until now, Nintendo has only officially partnered with LEGO to produce a wide variety of sets based on the Super Mario series, which have proven extremely popular over the past handful of years. Perhaps this is no surprise considering that Mario is a household name around much of the world, and even though the legendary plumber brothers saw a notable surge in popularity with the premiere of the still-popular Super Mario Bros.
