Ghouls 'n Ghosts is a side-scroller released by Capcom in 1988 for the arcade and ported to various platforms in the following years. The game stars King Arthur, who fights undead creatures and demons to resurrect the people killed by Loki. Arthur would later become part of the cast of the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. Landstalker, meanwhile, is an isometric RPG along the lines of Shining Force released by Sega in 1992, where players go on a treasure hunt in a magical kingdom. The game became particularly famous for its good use of isometric vision, one of Landstalker's highlights.

Crusader of Centy is another Sega release that arrived in 1994. In this action RPG players fight monsters, travel through time, and use a Kirby-style feature that allows them to absorb different types of animals and use their abilities. The list closes with the classic The Revenge of Shinobi, released by Sega in 1989. The second game in the Shinobi series, The Revenge of Shinobi follows the journey of ninja master Joe Musashi, who seeks to save his bride and exact revenge on a criminal organization. The game is also known for the soundtrack composed by Yuzo Koshiro, the legendary composer behind the music of games like Shenmue and the Streets of Rage series.

The Nintendo Switch has become a good way for Nintendo fans to take a walk down memory lane. The service is always adding new titles, like the previous update that added the award-winning Fire Emblem for Game Boy Advance.
