A pair of Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons based on the indie game breakaway hit, Cult of the Lamb, is available for pre-order now, but will be in very limited quantities. Cult of the Lamb is a roguelike indie game that released in August 2022, developed by Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital. Players embody the role of a lamb who is then tasked with creating a loyal following for the god that saved them. Cult of the Lamb straddled the line between an adorable and horror atmosphere, which made it quite popular with fans. With it passing its one-year anniversary, fans can celebrate with a pair of Joy-Cons based on the game.
The Switch has provided players with a number of different controller options and color schemes. Fans looking to get their hands on these controllers should act fast, as these are only in very limited quantities, with only 125 units of each controller. They are $165 USD and are expected to ship in late October 2023.
The controllers feature the protagonist of Cult of the Lamb, alongside some contrasting art that depicts both the adorable and horror sides of the game. The left Joy-Con has its protagonist surrounded in a flower bed, while the other side has them in a field of bones. Fans who order these controllers will get some exclusive goodies included as well, which includes premium packaging, an enamel pin, and a steel card signed by artist CptnAlex.
Fans of Cult of the Lamb can also get these custom designs for the PS5, Xbox Series, or even the Nintendo Switch Pro controller as well. They are all priced the same as the Joy-Cons.
