The original Switch launched on March 3, 2017, and its successor being released at the same time of the year, but eight years later, would be a great way of honoring the current console's legacy. As such, considering that the Nintendo Switch was released on the first Friday of the month, and considering that March 3 of next year is a Monday, March 7 would make for a great release date for the Switch 2. March 7 would be again the first Friday of the month and just four days after the Switch's eighth anniversary, possibly making it one of the best release dates for the console.
