While there are plenty of people on the road who drive their cars without any major changes from the way they looked on the lot, some prefer to customize their rides. However, customizing a ride usually doesn't involve Wii video game peripherals.

At least one person, however, has decided that should change. A TikToker has taken to the site to share their creation with the world as their Miata gradually transforms into what they're calling a Wiiata.

TikToker Tyler Atkin, aka ttptng, has been gradually chronicling the alterations to their vehicle on the short-form video site. The first one is attention-grabbing, with ttptng actually changing out their car's wheel and putting a Mario Kart Wii wheel in its place. They can even be seen driving the car with the Mario Kart Wii wheel in a later video, though ttptng notes that it was extremely hard to drive with it. That on its own would likely be enough to impress most Wii fans, but ttptng wasn't content to stop there.

With encouragement from the audience, ttptng went to work further customizing the car with more Wii parts. A Wii nunchuck was put over the gearstick, and a Wii Sports baseball bat was partially dismantled to fit over the emergency brake. However, he's still not done, as his most recent videos have detailed how he's gradually working through the process of replacing the car's radio with a Wii console. It's taking some time, as this piece has required customization in order to fit properly into the same slot, and for wiring to be set up.

Finishing setting up the Wii console is likely to be ttptng's next step, but they're already looking beyond that to how they're going to set up the Wii sensor bar. Ideally, they want a way to be able to mount it externally so that the Wii can actually be played on. What - if anything - he plans to do after that is unknown. The conversion from Miata to Wiiata might be considered finished at that point.

Tesla cars can play video games, but there's a big difference between booting up a game on a built-in tablet screen and overhauling an entire car's interior to celebrate an aged game console. While the practicality of these alterations is questionable, there's no doubt that most Wii fans would be amused, at the very least, to see so many familiar plastic game accessories making up the interior of a car.
