One enthusiastic little gamer was caught on camera getting emotional about a Splatoon 3 announcement by her mom while watching the recent Nintendo Direct event. During the event that promised a big year for Nintendo, the young girl couldn't help but get excited when one of her favorite games was brought to the forefront.

The very first Nintendo Direct of 2023 was a big deal and gave many eager fans updates on the state of what's to come for the rest of the year. From presenting a new trailer for highly anticipated titles like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to announcing Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games will be available for Nintendo Switch Online, the event made many fans of the company overjoyed. However, one particular fan was overcome with emotion during the announcement of a certain DLC.

During the Nintendo Direct event, a DLC for Splatoon 3 was announced, causing a young gamer to cry tears of joy. In the TikTok that captured the moment she states how she was worried the DLC was just an internet rumor but quickly seemed incredibly relieved and happy that her suspicions were incorrect. Ever since its release back in September Splatoon 3 has been very successful and many of its fans, both older and younger, are always eager to find out about new updates that will make the playing experience even better.

One of the funniest parts of the TikTok is when the girl has to clarify to her mom what a DLC is after there is clear confusion being stated behind the camera. After explaining to her mother what a DLC is, she also mentions how the Splatoon 3 DLC will come in two waves during this year. The girl goes on to talk about just how happy she is that new content is on its way and voiced her wishes to her mom of purchasing it for her no matter what the cost happens to be.

Ever since Nintendo's humble beginnings over a century ago, it is amazing to see the company grow into such an incredibly important name to so many people around the world. Every few years new generations are introduced to all the wonderful games and products Nintendo has to offer. Whether it's playing a classic franchise like Mario or a more recent franchise like the Splatoon games, Nintendo has always manages to bring joy to a variety of different gamers no matter how young or old.
