Today Nintendo released its long-rumored July Direct Mini, an 8 minute long Nintendo Direct consisting of just a handful of upcoming 3rd party releases, both big and small.

The Direct began with the announcement of a Season Pass for the Zelda rhythm game Cadence of Hyrule. The Season Pass will consist of three separate DLC Packs: the Character Pack that adds five brand new playable characters, the Melody Pack that adds 39 new songs, and the Symphony of the Mask pack which adds Skull Kid and a brand new story mode. The Character Pack is available now, with the second and third packs to be released before the end of October. The full Season Pass is available for purchase now, with bonus costumes for Link and Zelda also available. A physical "complete" edition for Cadence of Hyrule will be released on October 23, which will contain the base game as well as all of the Season Pass content.

Rogue Company, an online multiplayer third-person shooter, was the next game announced in the Mini Direct. The game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year, with gyroscope aiming options and even full cross-platform and cross-progression support.

Following that announcement was a trailer for a brand new wrestling game, entitled WWE 2K Battlegrounds. The game is a four-player multiplayer wrestling game, and seems to be a spin-off of some sorts to the NBA 2K Battlegrounds games. The game is now available for pre-order and is slated to release for the Switch on September 18.

Nintendo saved the biggest announcements for last, as it announced that Atlus's PlayStation 2 classic title Shin Megami Tensai 3: Nocturne would be receiving an HD Remaster on the Switch in Spring 2021. The final announcement came in the form of a brand new trailer for Shin Megami Tensai 5, where fans learned that the title would also be arriving on the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021.

This final announcement concluded the Mini Direct, with the entire event lasting just over eight minutes. Fret not, however, as Nintendo also announced that there would be more Nintendo Directs to come in 2020, with this Direct being just the first of many. It's unclear exactly how many Directs Nintendo fans will be receiving, but there will be more in the future.
