This past week Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl teased that it would be making character-related announcements soon. Developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs have now delivered, making several new fighter announcements. Three different Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl fighters are now confirmed to be joining the game's roster via a new Universe DLC pack. The first fighter, Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot, is available now alongside the latest update for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. The teaser for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's new character announcement was "Back to the lab again," prompting many to speculate the new character would be Jimmy Neutron. The surprise reveal was instead for Jenny of My Life as a Teenage Robot, which aired on Nickelodeon between 2003 and 2005, followed by a Nicktoons run between 2008 and 2009. In the show, Jenny, also known as XJ-9, is a sentient robot that protects earth while otherwise trying to live the life of a normal teenage girl.RELATED: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Adds Shredder, Double Dare StageJenny isn't the only new character coming to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, however. Two more characters are also included win the new Universe DLC pack, though they'll be arriving later this year. The first character is Hugh Neutron, the goofy father of Jimmy Neutron. Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl's third DLC character is one fans have been looking forward to since the game first launched. It's Rocko from the classic 90s cartoon Rocko's Modern Life.

The Universe DLC pack for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, also referred to as the fighting game's Season Pass, is available to purchase now. It's priced at $11.99 and includes all three DLC characters. Jenny is available to play now after purchasing the DLC, while Hugh Neutron will arrive this summer, followed by Rocko in the fall. Those who would prefer to pick up each character individually, or to skip characters they don't want, can purchase them for $4.99 each.

As great as it is to see Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl beginning to receive post-launch DLC characters, at least beyond the free Garfield update and Shredder, some fans were undoubtedly hoping for more. Three post-launch DLC characters in the first year of the game's launch is not a massive pipeline. Also, there are several "big" leaked characters like Jimmy Neutron, Squidward, Tommy Pickles, Zuko, and more who are still missing.

Concerns aside, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl fans will be more than excited to have new characters to play with over the rest of 2022. Further, a big balance update has also hit the game buffing Aang and Toph, while nerfing April O'Neil and Nigel. It should make for a great opportunity to revisit the cartoon fighting game.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
