El Tigre has just been leaked for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, adding even more evidence of a sequel to 2021’s cartoon-themed party brawler. While Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl didn’t quite take the gaming world by storm two years ago, it did receive some praise for its fun Super Smash Bros-style gameplay mechanics and charming roster that pulled from Saturday morning staples like SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. There was some criticism surrounding All-Star Brawl’s lack of gameplay variety, but many felt that there was a solid foundation that could be further fleshed out in a future sequel.

Sure enough, rumors of a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 have started to crop up over the past few months thanks to images of potential roster additions like Squidward of SpongeBob fame and the titular hero of Danny Phantom. There were also theories that All-Star Brawl publisher GameMill could announce this follow-up later this month, and more potential characters were recently leaked in the form of Jimmy Neutron from Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Vlad Plasmius from Danny Phantom, and Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Yet another potential roster addition for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has surfaced in a new leak from Reddit user Own_Philosopher_2008: El Tigre from the 2007 cult classic El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera. Manny’s heroic alter-ego can be seen battling Garfield, who was added to the original All-Star Brawl as a free DLC character in December 2021. While this image is enticing enough, it would later be shared by none other than El Tigre creator Jorge R. Gutierrez on Twitter. Additionally, All-Star Brawl lead developer Thaddeus Crews replied to the leak, adding more credence to it and the existence of All-Star Brawl 2 in general.

Before this latest All-Star Brawl 2 leak, Jorge R. Gutierrez hinted that characters from El Tigre could be coming to “a certain fighting Nick game” during a social media Q and A session last week. El Tigre would be a fitting addition to a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl sequel.

Now it looks like El Tigre could be making a comeback in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, which seems to be all but confirmed at this point. Fans have been growing curious about a potential follow-up ever since the rumors of All-Star Brawl 2 first began, and having these leaks shared and commented on by major figures like Jorge R. Gutierrez is solid evidence of its existence - even if GameMill has yet to make a formal announcement regarding it. In any case, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 could very well build on the areas players felt the first game was lacking by adding new variety in its gameplay and playable cast.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
