When an enemy fighter is on their last legs in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and they've already taken a considerable amount of damage, a reliable way to finish them off for good is by throwing out a Super Attack. These powerful abilities can be used once the character has built up enough of their meter, so while they can take a little while to charge up, they can be utterly devastating when used at the right time.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2: Best Characters, Ranked

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 features over 20 unique fighters to play as, but these characters are some of the most powerful in the game.

The Super Attacks in this game do differ in their quality though, since while some are nothing more than a giant punch or kick, others are a lot more unique and feature several callbacks to the character's respective show. These are all the best-looking and most visually impressive Super Attacks that players can expect to see in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

7 Danny Phantom

Danny's Fenton Thermose

Danny Phantom's ghost capsule

Danny's Super Attacks might be on the shorter side, but the ability itself is quite a deep-cut from the show that only true fans of Danny Phantom will pick up on at first. After opening up the Fenton Thermose, a capsule that is designed for capturing ghosts, Danny sucks the opponent into the device where they are tormented by the evil spirits flying around them.

The camera zooms into the device and gives a pretty haunting view of the combatant being terrified by the entities circling them, which is a nice added touch, and while it's already great, adding just an extra few seconds could have made it even more memorable.

6 SpongeBob

SpongeBob's Terrible Driving Skills

Spongebob and Mrs Puff in a car

SpongeBob has been able to achieve quite a lot during his many adventures in Bikini Bottom, but one thing that he has always failed at is completing his driving test. In fact, SpongeBob isn't just bad at driving, he's a pretty big risk to anyone who gets near him when he's in a car, which is why it's such a perfect idea to use this as his Super Attack.

6 Best SpongeBob SquarePants Games, Ranked

The best SpongeBob SquarePants games feature the titular character involved in some bizarre antics and platforming segments within Bikini Bottom.

Rather than just bumping head-first into the enemy, the screen shows SpongeBob swerving wildly left and right before making contact to show just how much of a hazard he is. The inclusion of Mrs. Puff, SpongeBob's driving instructor, also helps add to the uniqueness and humor of this move.

5 Garfield

Food Come To Life

Donuts and pies with arms and legs

Garfield isn't a fan of many things in life, but the one thing that he does love more than anything is tasty food, so it makes sense that his Super Attack would feature a banquet of sweet treats for him to snack on. Things quickly get a little weird though as the donuts, pies, and other foods come to life, kicking the enemy off the pink platform and hurling them off the stage entirely.

There's a lot of creativity on show here, and it's unexpected to see several everyday snacks growing arms and legs to deal with an opponent. It just feels like it could have been a little better if Garfield managed to get in on the action somehow.

4 Invader Zim

Laser Beam Of Destruction

Invader Zim's space station firing a laser at the earth

In any fighting game that features special finishing moves, there's always one that goes a little overboard. Whether it's Cyrax blowing up a planet in Mortal Kombat, or Akuma literally murdering his enemy in Street Fighter, there are always those moves that stand out for their destructiveness, and Invader Zim goes the extra length to make sure there's nothing left of his enemies after setting off his own unique Super Attack. After catching the enemy in his blast radius, Zim calls to his space station to fire down a gigantic laser beam directly onto his opponent.

As the laser grows in size, the entire planet completely vanishes. This can be a little confusing considering that the players jump right back onto the same stage after the world is destroyed, but it's still a shockingly powerful-looking attack that fits the title of being a "Super Attack."

3 Ren & Stimpy

Pressing The Big Red Button

Red angry while on the phone

This Super Attack is a reference to one of the most popular episodes of the series' history, "Stimpy's Fan Club," where Stimpy decides to start accepting fan letters. After Ren becomes jealous of his partner's fame, he decides to become the president of Stimpy's Fan Club, but this doesn't end up working out too well after he gets annoyed when some people start criticizing his actions. It gets to the point where he envisions himself being the President of the United States with a giant red button in front of him which will create an explosion if anyone dares to annoy him again.

10 Best Video Games Based On Cartoons

Cartoons are loved by fans across the world, but what are the best video games based on their animated adventures?

There's quite a big difference between how it's presented though, as in the show, the explosion only removes a big chunk of the planet, while in the game, it destroys the entire world. It's massively unexpected and a real insight into just how maniacal Ren is as a character, but being able to get his pal Stimpy involved in some way would have also helped emphasize the brotherly bond shared between the two.

2 Donatello

The Party Wagon

Teenage Mutant Turtles riding in a van

Two members of the TMNT crew are playable in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, but while Raphael's Super Attack is just a flurry of slashes, Donatello decides to get a little more creative with his attack by whipping out the Party Wagon. The giant van, which is packed with each member of the gang, chases down the enemy while firing at them with a cannon as they run down the street.

Not only does the quick scene of the crew show the camaraderie each of them shares, but seeing the Party Wagon is such a great callback to the early years of the series. A slice of pizza being thrown in there somewhere, or even an appearance from Krang adding to the attack may have pushed it even further, but it's still an excellent example of how to make a final move flashy and eye-catching.

1 Squidward

Handsome Squidward

Handsome Squidward

Squidward's whole Super Attack is pretty bizarre, but there's no denying that it's one of, if not the funniest, attack in the entire game, especially since it brings back the handsome Squidward meme that has been circling the internet for many years. As this buff version of everyone's favorite squid dances around the stage, knocking away opponents as he goes, he's eventually stopped by crashing face-first into a pole.

The fact that Free Labs went as far as to include a fan-favorite depiction of the character in his own move, along with adding a touch of extra absurdity to make the whole concept even more hilarious, really makes this a standout that's hard to forget about after seeing it for the first time. This is undoubtedly one of the weirdest, but also most creative final attacks ever seen in a fighting game.
