Players who missed out on the first test can sign up for the second by visiting the official Street Fighter 6 website. Players who sign up for the second closed beta will be selected via lottery, so while registration is important it does not necessarily confirm a spot on the test. Those who are selected, however, will be able to take a closer look at the game's new features, such as Guile's theme in Street Fighter 6, which marks a radical change to one of the franchise's most famous melodies.

In this second test of Street Fighter 6, the playable characters will be Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken. Available modes include Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, Open Tournaments, and Training Mode. Capcom has also made bug fixes to Online Battle and Training Mode and tweaks to some aspects related to controls and overall strategy (compared to the previous test). Other features of the new closed beta include six playable Stages, cross-play, and commentary. With this new feature Street Fighter 6 will have real-time battle commentary, with the beta featuring the voices of James Chen and Demon Kakka.

To battle in the second beta of Street Fighter 6 players will have six playable Stages, these being Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, The Macho Ring, and Training Room. Players will also be able to create their avatar, although Street Fighter 6's avatars had cursed results in the first beta test.

While keeping the 3D graphics and characters known to fans, Street Fighter 6 may be one of the most distinctive entries in the franchise. Another new feature is the Adventure Mode in Street Fighter 6, a first for the franchise. Adding the new visual to the new gameplay features, Street Fighter 6 has the potential to be an experience with content to please both old fans and those who are having their first contact with the series.

Street Fighter 6 launches in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
