And finally, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is directing the third movie, which will be set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and once again focus on Rey.

Luckily, there is plenty for Star Wars fans to look forward to in the more immediate future. The third season of The Mandalorian is currently airing on Disney+, while Ahsoka will premiere in August 2023.
