As 2021 is drawing to a close, so is the 25th anniversary year of the Persona series. Atlus has promised its fans that more announcements will be revealed in December, but the team has been rolling out news to celebrate the occasion, albeit slowly. Now, the company has revealed the designs of the two new Persona 5 Royal statues that it is producing with Japanese figure brand MegaHouse under their Lucrea line.

Fans may recall that Atlus had already announced that it was currently working with MegaHouse to create the new Lucrea figures. During that announcement, it was revealed that the next two Lucrea figures will be Joker and Crow. Though this may sound new to some fans, this is not the first announcement by Atlus about toy figure releases as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. Just this September, new figma figures for the last three Persona games were being re-released, in order to answer the demand for the sold-out items. Given how popular P5 Royal is around the world, it is not surprising that Atlus is still making more figures of the game's characters for its fans to collect.

On its official Japanese Twitter account, MegaHouse shared specific links so that fans can check out the designs of the new Persona 5 Royal Lucrea figures. Though both designs are still prototypes, fans will likely appreciate the attention to detail in the sculpting, as well as the dynamic poses of each of the figures. Fans will notice that the Joker prototype is still not colored, and the figure does not seem to come with the character's iconic mask. On the other hand, Crow, or Akechi Goro, already has a colored version of his prototype, complete with the character's ominous-looking mask. According to each figure's micro site, Joker will stand at 255mm while Crow will be 200mm tall.

MegaHouse has yet to reveal the price range and release date of these two Lucrea statues. The brand has already worked with Atlus before to produce Lucrea versions of P5 Royal's new character Kasumi Yoshizawa and Phantom Thief Makoto Nijima, therefore fans can assume that the figures will likely have the same cost. MegaHouse also announced that the Kasumi Yoshizawa Lucrea figure is being re-released at 15,180 yen or around $134 USD, and can be pre-ordered for shipment this coming April 2022.

These Persona 5 Royal figures may come at a higher price point than others, but the accurate details, and vibrant colors of the Lucrea product range seems like it will make up for the expense. Hopefully Atlus reveals the completed designs soon so fans can decide whether they will pre-order the figures or not.

Personal 5 Royal is available on PlayStation 4.
