Ever since the first Super Mario Lego collections were revealed, Lego and Nintendo have seen a ton of success with the unique interactive playsets. Many fans have caused almost every single set of the series to sell out almost the instant they're announced, and it makes sense for Nintendo and Lego to continue to expand the series with that success. The next expansion seemingly deals with Princess Peach.Due to the fact that the date March 10 can be shortened to MAR10, the day has been declared by Nintendo as "Mario Day." Ever since the day has been filled with fun Super Mario-related announcements. It seems that this year, Lego has a fun announcement for the fans of its Mario Lego sets.RELATED: Mario Strikers: Battle League Announced, Gameplay Shown During Nintendo DirectOn Instagram, it seems that Lego accidentally posted its Mario Day announcement early, revealing photos of what appears to be Princess Peach Lego sets, complete with her own interactive mini-figure. The post was deleted almost as fast as it was posted, but fans who saw the images quickly saved them, and they have since circulated on social media.

It seems that there are two new playsets coming soon, one being a starter Princess Peach set, and another one being a much larger playset featuring Princess Peach's Castle from Super Mario 64. The castle set comes with a few interesting Mario characters, such as Toadette, Ludwig the Koopaling, and a Goomba hiding in a cake. These sets will most likely be sold seperately, much like Mario and Luigi were when their starter sets were released.

The pictures make the sets, as well as the Princess Peach mini-figure, seem incredibly fun and cute, but only the pictures have made it to social media. What exactly comes with these sets won't be known until the Lego Super Mario playsets are officially announced and made available, most likely on Mario Day. There's a chance that these sets will be properly announced with some sort of trailer showcasing the toy sets being built and played with, like the sets before it.

Still, even though this surprise announcement ended up being revealed early, Nintendo most likely has a few more surprise announcements planned for Mario Day that fans don't know of as of yet. After all, Nintendo has a Mario Day sale going on featuring many of the plumber's fan-favorite adventures. What exactly Mario Day has in store will need to be seen once the day arrives, but there's bound to be plenty of things for fans to enjoy.
