As movie sets around the world begin to open up again and start production, images and rumors have begun swirling about all the major projects that have been delayed up until now. One of the biggest sets of delays up until now has been the 4th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will feature films like Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Now that the Coronavirus pandemic is more under control than it once was, some film sets have gotten back to work, using the new safety protocols in place to continue filming in a more limited capacity. One of those projects has been Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be directed by Taika Waititi and will feature Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth as the lead actors.

The last audiences saw of Hemsworth's Thor was, of course, at the finale of Avengers: Endgame. During the closing act of that movie, the god himself gave control over Asgard to Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, and decided to hitch a ride with the Guardians of the Galaxy on some new adventure. Since then fans have been wondering whether or not the Guardians themselves would appear in Thor: Love and Thunder, and how big a part they will eventually play.

Well, at least half of that question has now been answered, thanks to some behind-the-scenes images from the Daily Mail. The movie is currently being filmed in Australia, and someone just so happened to spot Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt walking around the area in full costume recently.

While Hemsworth seems to have a new getup for Thor, Chris Pratt seems to be wearing more or less what one would expect from Star-Lord. This seemingly confirms that at least Pratt will be making an appearance in the film, though it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a major player or even around for that long. Other characters seen on set include Karen Gillian's Nebula, as well as Sean Gunn's Kraglin.

At least this may provide some comfort to those who were hoping to see Star-Lord in another film before his full reveal in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, which currently has no set release date. Hopefully more of Star-Lord will be seen when Thor: Love and Thunder finally drops its first trailer in the lead-up to release.

Thor: Love and Thunder will release in 2022.
