June 2020 is finally here, and with the new month comes a host of new creatures to Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands all around the globe. Some fish and bugs will stick around for most of the year or are always available, while some critters like the ones on this list cycle in and out of players’ games based on climate and the seasons. Even the time of day affects which critters can be caught, so players need to be mindful if they want to catch rare bugs and fish.

With the new month in Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes new opportunities to catch fish and bugs for Blathers’ collection in the museum, to sell for a bunch of Bells, or generally enjoy finding the new and exciting critters around the island, even if the New Horizon's bugs can be annoying at times.

Northern Hemisphere

In the Northern Hemisphere, the days are getting warmer and the sun is staying out longer. With summer coming into full swing, there are a lot of rare fish like the Arapaima and a good handful of bugs like the Rainbow Stag that’ll be rolling in along with the hot weather.
