Netflix's One Piece Live Action series is almost here and after years of waiting, fans can finally see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates begin their pirating adventure across the many oceans of the One Piece world. Fans have already been treated to a full trailer and it has certainly lived up to the expectations that were set for it.
With the show now very close to getting released, fans are wondering what kind of pirates will show up in season 1 of Netflix's One Piece Live Action. While there are plenty of powerful pirates that sail the seas of the One Piece world in the Great Pirate Era, only a handful will show up in season 1.
13 Galley
Galley is a pirate that has appeared in Oda's original One Piece and also later incorporated into the anime.
Galley is a pirate with a bounty of 5 million berries and, by the looks of it, will show up in the Baratie arc. How exactly he will affect the story remains to be seen.
12 Alvida
Alvida is the captain of the Alvida Pirates and the very first one that Luffy fights after leaving on his journey.
Alvida has a 5 million very bounty on her head and, in the beginning, she serves as a good warm-up for Luffy before he starts to create his own crew.
11 Usopp
Usopp Is recruited by Luffy in Syrup Village as the sharpshooter of the crew. Although he is a coward, Usopp steps up when it matters and fights his cowardice. He's one of the most human characters in the series and fans surely adore him.
10 Nami
Nami Is the navigator of the Straw Hat Crew and certainly one of the smartest people not just in the East Blue, but in the entire series. Nami might not have a bounty on her head, however, she is very dangerous. Her cunning guile and incredible charm, when added to her terrific fighting skills, make her a very ferocious pirate.
9 Captain Kuro
Captain Kuro serves as the main antagonist of the Syrup Village arc. He is a scheming mastermind and among the smartest people in the entirety of the East Blue. Kuro offers quite a challenge to Luffy and certainly proves to be an entertaining villain for the fans as well.
8 Buggy
Buggy is a seasoned pirate from the Grand Line and he serves as the main antagonist of the orange town arc.
Buggy is extremely skilled and also a Devil Fruit user. He will pose a great challenge to Luffy when the two clash.
7 Sanji
Sanji is the chef of the straw hat pirates and the last recruit that Luffy will get from the east blue. Sanji worked on Baratie for quite a long time until he eventually went with Luffy to find the All Blue.
Under Zeff, he has trained all his life and he is certainly a very powerful pirate.
6 Zoro
Zoro is the very first person to join Luffy's crew. He's also one of the strongest members of the group, given that he is a master swordsman. Zoro fights with three swords and aims to become the strongest swordsman in the entire world. Fans are sure to see him take part in many incredible fights as that is what he does best.
5 Don Krieg
Don Krieg is the Captain of the Krieg Armada and he serves as the primary antagonist of the Baratie arc. Strangely enough, he has not been seen in any of the trailers so far. However, his bounty poster has officially been released by Netflix's One Piece Live Action. Krieg is certainly in the series, however, fans do not know what role he will play.
4 Arlong
Arlong is a powerful pirate who has even sailed the seas of the Grand Line. He terrorizes Cocoyashi Village and enslaves everyone living there, including Nami. Arlong serves as the primary antagonist of the Arlong Park arc. He proves that he is certainly worthy of being one of the mightiest in East Blue and pushes Luffy to his very extreme limits.
3 Luffy
Luffy is certainly the most prominent pirate in One Piece as he is the main character. He is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and he sets out on the journey to become the Pirate King. Luffy crushes everyone standing in his path in the East Blue and eventually, attains a 30 million beri bounty. He then sets sail to the Grand Line, where new challenges await him and his powerful crew.
2 Mihawk
Dracule Mihawk is the World's Strongest Swordsman and one of the Shichibukai in the One Piece world.
He is the man Zoro aims to defeat and fans will surely see him play a role in the Baratie arc, where he ends up fighting against Zoro and humiliating him, showing him that he's just a frog in a well.
1 Shanks
Shanks is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea and certainly one of the strongest pirates in the entire world.
He is the man who sets Luffy on his journey to becoming the Pirate King. Shanks won't appear much in this first season after Romance Dawn, however, his role is significant nonetheless.
