Netflix's The Witcher has been out for a couple of weeks now and has proven to be rather popular among fans of the franchise. Its release has even led to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt breaking player records, as many watched the show and then returned for another playthrough of CD Projekt Red's title, but that's not the only things its popularity has led to.

It has proven to an excellent source for meme material, ranging from the various creatures that Geralt encounters to Geralt himself, from the interactions between Geralt and Jaskier to the beloved "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" Song. The internet took this meme material, as it does, and ran with it, leading to some great The Witcher memes. Here's the 10 best currently circulating the internet.

Geralt Needs to Put More Skill Points in Axii

the witcher axii fail

The Witcher video games had some great dialogue options, one of which included certain levels of Axii to convince NPCs to complete a certain task. Canonically, Geralt abhors using this Witcher Sign, so it makes sense that each time he uses it in the Netflix series, it basically fails. It clearly would have been helpful a time or two, though.

The Witcher vs. Game of Thrones

the witcher vs game of thrones

It's not surprising that Game of Thrones and The Witcher are being compared, especially after the creative consultant of the latter, the actual Witcher author, took a lighthearted jab at Game of Thrones. Either way, each show has its fans and detractors, so to each their own.

Playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?

witcher video game meme

A majority of those who've watched The Witcher are likely gamers, having experienced or is currently experiencing the games after seeing the show. This meme takes a solid scene from the show and makes that appeal and connection.

*Whistles for Roach*

witcher roach

Another meme related to the Netflix series and video games points out an "inaccuracy" in that Roach never appears somewhere he shouldn't. He's a tamed horse in the show, but Roach was known to pop up anywhere and everywhere in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Of all the differences, this is most likely the most lighthearted and may gain a few chuckles.

The Witcher's Bath Tub Scene, Though

witcher snacc

Geralt's bath tub scene is one of the most popular from the game, so it's no surprise that its Netflix adaptation would pop up in memes. After all, this same scene also cropped up in the Belle Delphine Bathwater memes that rose to popularity some time back.

Oh, Jaskier

jaskier baby yoda

Alongside the Witcher, The Mandalorian has been one of the biggest shows to launch in recent memory, with the latter leading to several memes itself, particularly of Baby Yoda. This meme makes that crossover and relates the innocence of Jaskier to the innocence of Baby Yoda. Oddly enough, it is quite fitting.

How's My Singing?

witcher outraged jaskier

Geralt and Jaskier have a complicated relationship, and at one point, Geralt tells Jaskier his singing is akin to ordering a pie but getting no filling. Jaskier's response is the insulted and shocked face seen above, which itself just screams new meme format.

Toss a Coin to Your Witcher

the witcher jaskier meme

Perhaps one of the most popular aspects of the show is Jaskier's "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher," a song in which he paints Geralt in a positive light. It's quite catchy, so it's not surprising that it has become a meme itself.

Oh, Valley of Plenty

oh valley of plenty the witcher

Another "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" meme, but this one focuses on how people have it stuck in their head and sing it deeply. In fact, there's even a Heavy Metal cover of the Witcher song, so those looking to listen to it in different styles should check it out.

Jaskier vs. Podrick

jaskier toss a coin to your witcher

The final meme compares Jaskier's singing his song to Game of Throne's Podrick singing "Jenny of Oldstones." It occurs in season 8 episode 2, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," but it doesn't quite compare to Jaskier's singing. While it's full of emotional depth, it's not as catchy, which may be what the above meme is hinting at.

The Witcher can be streamed on Netflix now.
