This 10-episode period drama follows the historical life story of the 18th-century outlaw leader Jan de Lichte. His story similar to the one of Robin Hood, a man who not only lives as a thief for personal gain, but to serve the oppressed lower classes in his society.
It's action packed and rich with history, inspired by real life events. The show was filmed in Dutch with French and German, but can be watched in English and Spanish as well.

4 Who Killed Sara?
This thrilling Spanish drama follows the story of Álex Guzmán, a man who is out for revenge for being framed for his own sister's death many years prior. The show highlights the inequalities across social classes, selfish murderous schemes, and high society secrets. It just premiered in 2021 yet already has two seasons and a third is confirmed, so it's great watch for those who want to watch something brand new but still with enough episodes to binge for a couple weekends.
3 Ozark
This show packs a little more humor and wild, American low-class living than the other shows on this list, but the crazy storyline following the lives of the main family make this show one of the best on Netflix. The show highlights the dangers of living in their specific entertainment industry and features powerful women beating the crap out of men, which is always an amazing sight to see. The costumes are wacky, the music is popping, and it's an exhilarating watch.

This multi-Golden Globe and Emmy winning show is not one to miss if you love period pieces. It's lavish and beautiful, dramatizing the life of Queen Elizabeth II beginning from the 1940s up until modern day. After the death of her father, King George VI, Elizabeth takes the throne as a young woman and has to overcome many obstacles hidden from the public, including personal relationships, political injustices, and dangerous rivalries. Beautiful costumes, cinematography, and acting await!
