When a show has a fanbase as strong as Stranger Things does, every detail is going to be revealed. Again, this isn't much, but it gives the people what they want, which they will undoubtedly analyze from now to when the next little blurb pops up.

Netflix's Twitter account did the honor of releasing twelve images for the upcoming season of its hit show two months before its eventual debut on the streaming service. These images gave viewers potentially more insight as to where the show goes from here. In them contains our protagonists clearly trying to fix the conflict at hand for them this season. As of now, no one knows what the conflict will be exactly, but these images give them some much-needed mystery.

Most intriguing among these images include the clear-as-day appearance of Hopper alive and well, though the circumstances of his teased survival after the third season are not yet clear. It also appears as though Nancy and Robin are visiting a local prison under false identities. The images also show the gang devising a way to overcome whatever it is that's clearly going to be in their way.

Kudos to Netflix's Twitter for giving away some juicy details but not going too far. These images show enough to keep the fans invested, but not so much so that they know exactly what's going to happen.

Although, fans may be asking themselves where exactly this show is going? After a very gripping first season, which was almost six years ago, Stranger Things still manages to capture people's attention. The show still remains quite popular, but some fans might feel that it lost its spunk since its initial release back in 2016. Primarily it's because the show previously did such a good job of capturing a mysterious tone regarding "The Upside Down." Now, the viewers already know what's going on, so what other mysterious avenues could the show approach?

Luckily the showrunners have made the right choice by announcing that Stranger Things will be coming to an end when its fifth season concludes. At least there's a specific aim in sight. That alone could give the show an infusion of mystery as to how the story ends, which should keep viewers invested until then. Stranger Things may not have the same appeal now like it did back in 2016, but that doesn't mean getting it back is out of the question.

Stranger Things' Fourth Season will premiere on Netflix on May 27th, 2022.
