Stop what you're doing right now and schedule some time off work in July, because season two of Netflix's hilarious sketch comedy show I Think You Should Leave has an official release date of July 6th.

If you're unaware, or you just hate laughter, the first season of I Think You Should Leave debuted on Netflix back in 2019 and quickly took the internet by storm. The general premise of the show is each sketch is designed to be extremely uncomfortable or awkward, causing the viewer or the person in the sketch to want to leave. Tim Robinson spent several years as a writer on SNL and as a result, the first season features many cameos from SNL cast members such as Will Forte, Vanessa Bayer, Andy Samberg, and Cecily Strong.

Robinson is also known for his short-lived comedy series Detroiters, which he starred in and co-created with longtime friend and fellow Detroit native Sam Richardson (Veep, The Tomorrow War). The show told the story of two friends who run a small-time ad company in Detroit and use various ridiculous methods to create ads and secure new clients. It's basically Workaholics meets Mad Men. Despite having generally positive reviews, Detroiters was canceled after two seasons, but perhaps it's a blessing that the series was so short-lived, because it allowed Robinson to reach his full potential and create I Think You Should Leave.

Despite the fairly short runtime of each episode, I Think You Should Leave is chock-full of hilarious sketches and memorable moments. Some of the funniest sketches include "Baby of the Year," which features Richardson as the host of a reality TV show that pits babies against each other, "Brooks Brothers," in which Robinson plays a man who insists he did not crash a hotdog vehicle into a storefront despite being dressed as a hot dog, and "Has This Ever Happened To You," a parody infomercial for a law firm that just keeps getting more and more ridiculous as it goes on. Several of these sketches have turned into hilarious memes, especially the hotdog one and also the Walk The Line parody sketch titled “The Day That Robert Palins Murdered Me.”

While the second season of I Think You Should Leave was announced back in 2019 after the first season premiered, fans haven't gotten an official premiere date until now. So put on your hot dog costume and get ready to return to the insane world of Robinson.

I Think You Should Leave season two premieres exclusively on Netflix on July 6th, 2021.
