Late last week Sony finally released their highly anticipated PS4 console to the masses (read our review of the console). And in less than 24 hours the console sold through more than 1 million units.

However, while units sold is a major factor in determining the success of a console, it doesn't necessarily show why individual gamers made their PS4 purchase. That, of course, typically has a lot to do with what games are available (or will be available).

So, with that in mind, we have a bevy of trailers for PS4 fans to feast their eyes on, many of which are for some of the next-gen console's most intriguing launch releases. Above, viewers can see the launch trailer for Need for Speed: Rivals, Electronic Arts' next-gen foray into the racing genre.

While Need for Speed: Rivals didn't receive quite as much attention as DriveClub, now that that title has been pushed to next year, NFS is front and center for racing fans. And, if reviews are any indication, Rivals is another solid entry in the long-running franchise.

Speaking of DriveClub, two new clips have been released for the Sony-exclusive racer on its Facebook page. Obviously, this is the odd-man-out of the bunch, as the game won't release until some time next year, but that doesn't mean we can't bask in the stunning graphics anyways.

And like the below game, Resogun, DriveClub will have a free offering for PS Plus members, a sampling of sorts that includes a few cars and tracks.

Next up is a trailer for Resogun, Housemarque's stylish space shooter. Those who have read our Resogun review know that the title is one of the first must-plays for the PS4 system, and it comes free with a subscription to PS Plus.

Gamers should beware, though, that Resogun is brutal in its difficulty curve and requires a precise hand. Luckily, the DualShock 4 is an immense improvement over its predecessor, and feels great in the hands.

And finally, we have a new trailer for Knack, the PS4 launch title that appeals to a wide range of audiences. Although we will have our full thoughts on the game later this week, let us just say that Knack is more unassuming than initial trailers will lead players to believe.

The way the game uses relics to boost Knack's form is a clever way to show off the PS4's capabilities in a different way, and significantly alters combat. Similarly, the difficulty curve in the game reinforces that the art style isn't indicative of the end product (i.e. the game is still plenty challenging despite its playful character designs).

There's plenty of PS4 content available on store shelves and in the pipeline, but finding the right fit for each gamer takes a discerning eye. Many of the launch-day games for PS4 have unfortunately failed to hit the mark — like Knack for example — but that doesn't mean they won't find an audience. Hopefully these trailers can help gamers see the potential appeal in each of the four games.

Which of these four games are you most interested in? What game do you think looks the leas appealing?

Knack, Resogun, and Need for Speed: Rivals are all available for the PS4 now, and DriveClub is targeting an early 2014 release.
