7 Naruto, Sakura, & Sai Vs. Sasuke

A Desperate Showdown Between Friends

After Sasuke disbands from the Hidden Leaf Village and seeks out power to take on his brother Itachi, Naruto makes it his primary goal (at the time) to find Sasuke and bring him back. During this, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai were assigned to retrieve Sasuke (although Sai was secretly told to kill Sasuke).

After they find Sasuke, he puts up a violent fight. During this battle, players experience normal competition with Sakura and Sai as supports. There are also various quick-time events to enjoy as well. The best part of this boss fight is the cutscenes, dialogue, and overall show that is put on during the match.

6 Naruto Battles Kurama

An Epic Fight Between Demon And Host

When looking to gain control over the Nine-Tails' chakra, Naruto had to confront his inner demon — quite literally. After delving deep, Naruto beckons Kurama's power, to which Kurama responds with violence, giving Naruto no chance but to hope he can defeat the demon and gain control over Kurama's power.

This boss fight lets fans legitimately fight against Kurama, who is as large as expected. Kurama throws plenty of AoE attacks at players, all of which are unforgivable. Defeating this boss can be a challenge, but one that will never be forgotten. As most boss fights do, this match with Kurama also includes neat quick-time events that players will have to complete. These also put on a display of amazing cinematics for gamers to watch.

5 Sasuke & Itachi Defeat Kabuto

A Truly Enthralling Battle

After Sasuke finally understands what happened with Itachi, the Uchiha Clan, and the Hidden Leaf Village, he puts aside all hate for his brother. This led to them teaming up once Itachi had been reanimated by Kabuto, who had also revived many other ninja to fight alongside him. The boss fight with Kabuto is one of the more lengthy battles in the series, as it flips between quick-time events, normal matches, and sequences in which players have to dodge a multitude of AoE attacks.

3 Sasuke Vs. Itachi

An Emotional Battle Between Brothers

Sasuke's entire life was spent searching for revenge on his brother, Itachi Uchiha. That was true until he actually had defeated him. Sasuke may have had an upper hand in defeating Itachi, but it was by a hair, as Itachi was much more powerful than Sasuke ever realized.

The battle between the brothers lasted two matches and took the chakra out of both fighters throughout each one. The quick-time events through these fights with Itachi truly felt like they were life or death, as Itachi (as fans know now) wanted to prove that his brother had surpassed him. Not only that, but the matches were very emotional, as Itachi's whole life had been essentially kept in secret, forcing him to live as a rogue ninja. The cutscenes, map design, QTEs, overall impact, and much more make this struggle an incredibly memorable one.

2 Naruto & Sasuke Vs. Obito

Susanoo and Kurama Come Together

Although Kaguya was the ultimatum in terms of boss fights in History mode, the matches between Naruto, Sasuke, and Obito were truly exceptional. Obito has gained the power of the Ten-Tails, making the confrontation a very risky one for Naruto and Sasuke. The quarrel starts with Naruto and Sasuke fighting against the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki amid a normal match.

Eventually, the match escalates into QTEs and forces Naruto and Sasuke to use Susanoo and Kurama to fight. With these enlarged forms, both ninja take on Obito, eventually breaking his defenses and helping him overcome his hatred.

1 Naruto Vs. Sasuke: The Final Battle

The Most Memorable Fight

Of course, no Ultimate Ninja Storm title would be complete without its story mode fitted with Naruto Vs. Sasuke at the end of it. The Final Battle happens after Naruto and Sasuke save the world by defeating Obito, Madara, and then Kaguya during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Sasuke states that he's going to rebuild the Hidden Leaf Village from the ground up, meaning that it would need to be destroyed first, but Naruto, understandably, stops him.

The fight is among the longest boss battles in Ultimate Ninja Storm history, as it spans throughout flashbacks from Naruto and Sasuke's past altercations. One of the most emotionally driven parts of this final confrontation is near the end of the conflict, where both ninja are exhausted and drained. Though they're tired, each one continues fighting, allowing players to throw disoriented punches here and there. And of course, the quick-time events make it all the more enjoyable.
