Naruto is known for its powerful characters. These characters possess all kinds of special abilities that separate them from the rest. Two such characters who wield immense power are Sasuke Uchiha and Madara Uchiha.
The two belong to the mighty Uchiha Clan, which is considered to be one of the strongest in Naruto. Both characters possess unique powers that put them among the strongest characters in the anime. However, there have been many debates about who is the stronger Uchiha in Naruto, and the fans of both characters think that their favorite wins out. With that in mind, let's take a look at both characters in-depth to see who is stronger.
Taijutsu
Taijutsu is one of the three main ways of fighting an opponent. It requires using martial arts and sometimes it is combined with chakra in order to increase the power of the attacks. Sasuke and Madara are apt at using taijutsu and over time they have fought against several strong opponents who also use it.
Madara has fought Hashirama, Tsunade, and Might Guy, but he was never able to use taijutsu at their level. In fact, he was obliterated by Might Guy and only survived because of his healing ability.
On the other hand, Sasuke's taijutsu skills are incredible. He managed to overwhelm Gaara, and Naruto with taijutsu, and considering both of them have fought against Momoshiki, Sasuke is clearly better at taijutsu.

Ninjutsu is the most common way of fighting in Naruto. It requires a ninja to mold their chakra and apply a specific nature. Once Madara became the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, he was able to use all five basic natures and also gained access to Yin-Yang Release. Madara's ninjutsu variety was really impressive.
Like his fellow clan member, Sasuke can also use all five natures. His arsenal is filled with a lot more diverse techniques, and Sasuke has used them several times to get out of a difficult situation. While Madara can use powerful techniques several times, Sasuke's ninjutsu is more refined.

The members of the Uchiha Clan specialize in genjutsu. The Sharingan allows the Uchiha to cast genjutsu on their opponents and puts them at a distinct advantage. Even though Madara had the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, he never utilized any special genjutsu techniques.
Meanwhile, Sasuke's genjutsu prowess is on an extremely high level. With the help of his special Rinnegan, Sasuke was able to put all the tailed beasts and Sakura under genjutsu. This is an astounding feat as Sakura's tolerance to genjutsu makes her almost immune to genjutsu.

Chakra Reserves
It is crucial for any ninja to have high chakra levels if they want to become strong. The chakra reserves allow an individual to use powerful techniques. So, a ninja with more chakra has a distinct advantage over their opponent. Sasuke has great chakra reserves that make him a fearsome opponent. Sasuke was able to fight against Naruto for a long period, but the former needed to steal the chakra from the tailed beasts in order to use his strongest attack— Indra Arrow.
Madara has a distinct advantage when it comes to chakra reserves. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara finally achieved his goal of becoming the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. Due to the transformation, Madara's chakra levels increased significantly and he was able to use any jutsu without problems.

Feats
Madara is considered a legendary ninja who fought against Hashirama Senju and was considered the "God of Shinobi." After being reanimated, Madara took down the Five Kage, but that was due to having infinite chakra reserves. He was also able to defeat Naruto, Sasuke, and Tobirama during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Sasuke's feats are much better in comparison. So far, he has managed to fight against Kinshiki, Momoshiki, Naruto, Kaguya, Madara, etc. It is noteworthy that Sasuke nerfed himself by not getting a new arm. So, he can form hand seals with just one hand.

Weapons
Sasuke and Madara are both very proficient when it comes to weapon-wielding. Madara used his Gunbai Fan to nullify attacks from his opponents. Furthermore, he was also able to clash against Hashirama, who was considered to be an expert at using weapons.
Sasuke specializes in using a sword. He started using a sword when he left the Hidden Leaf to join Orochimaru and since then Sasuke has continued to use it. He was an equal match for Kinshiki and he even managed to slice off Kinshiki's horn during the fight.

Intelligence
Both Sasuke and Madara are considered geniuses because of their incredible ability to analyze their opponent and find out their weakness. Madara has shown that he is capable of wriggling out a tough situation with his intelligence, however, he could never develop a strategy to take down Hashirama Senju and he was also betrayed by Black Zetsu.
Sasuke is easily among the smartest characters in Naruto. Time and time again, he has shown that he can come up with a formidable plan within seconds. He managed to outsmart Deidara by reverse summoning himself to another location. He was also able to use his Rinnegan to allow Naruto to land a hit on Momoshiki. In Boruto, Isshiki acknowledged that Sasuke and his Rinnegan were a big nuisance and he had to get rid of him first.

Strongest Uchiha
It is easy to see that Sasuke supplants Madara in every category except for chakra reserves as the latter was the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. However, Sasuke is far ahead in all the other categories. Consequently, Sasuke is undoubtedly the strongest Uchiha in Naruto.
