Kekkei Genkai are powerful abilities that exist within only a few in the world of Naruto. These powers are also known as Bloodline Limit and, as the name suggests, are only wielded by a select few. Kekkei Genkai can manifest themselves as Dojutsu, such as the Sharingan, or can be created by combining two nature transformations together to give rise to a completely new one.
In rare cases, Kekkei Genkai allow the user to manipulate their body in a variety of ways. While all Kekkei Genkai are powerful, only a few of them are rare enough to be highly coveted in the world of ninja.
9 Wood Release
Used by the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, Wood Release is an incredibly powerful Kekkei Genkai. This ability was, surprisingly, limited to just the First Hokage, and all the other people who gained it did so through artificial means.
Technically, there's only one user of this power in the Naruto world, however, others have made use of it by stealing Hashirama's cells and cultivating them for use.
8 Sakon and Ukon's Kekkei Genkai

Sakon and Ukon were introduced in the first part of Naruto when Sasuke Uchiha was to be delivered to Orochimaru following the events of the Chunin Exams. Being Orochimaru's underlings, it goes without saying that they were quite powerful.
Sakon and Ukon had an unnamed Kekkei Genkai that allowed them to deconstruct and reconstruct their body at a molecular level. They could easily fuse their body with anyone and even destroy them from within. This Kekkei Genkai was later also wielded by Kabuto Yakushi.
7 Shikotsumyaku
One of the most powerful Kekkei Genkai to exist in Naruto, Shikotsumyaku was wielded by the now extinct Kaguya clan. Kimimaro was the last known natural user of this ability.
Using this power, he could manipulate his bones as he liked, including their size and density, quite easily. His bones became his main weapon in combat and could even pierce through Gaara's Ultimate Defence. Later, Kabuto Yakushi also used this ability.
6 Ketsuryugan
A rare Dojutsu, Ketsuryugan is the Kekkei Genkai of the Chinoike Clan. Much like the Uchiha, this clan is mostly extinct now with only a handful of survivors. The Ketsuryugan is a powerful eye the strength of which draws comparisons to the Three Great Dojutsu.
It allows the user to cast Genjutsu on eye or skin contact and at the same time, draw information from them or manipulate them. What's more, it also lets the user manipulate any liquid with a high iron concentration.
5 Rinnegan
One of the strongest known Kekkei Genkai in Naruto, the Rinnegan is the rarest of the Three Great Dojutsu. This eye holds tremendous significance in the Naruto world and it is believed that those who hold this eye would either bring great destruction or a great change in the world for the good.
The Rinnegan grants the power to rule over life and death itself. At the same time, it also grants abilities known as the Six Paths Powers that make the user almost invincible in combat.
4 Typhoon Release
Typhoon Release is quite a rare Kekkei Genkai that was seen in the anime adaptation of Sasuke Shinden. In usage, this Kekkei Genkai is quite similar to the Wind Release nature transformation, however, it is much more powerful, as the name suggests.
With its powers, the user can create typhoons and cause large-scale destruction quite easily. So far, there's only one known user of this ability, named Nowaki.
3 Tenseigan
The Tenseigan is quite an overpowered Kekkei Genkai that was first wielded by the brother of the Sage of Six Paths, Hamura Otsutsuki. This eye can be awakened when the Byakugan is coupled with the Otsutsuki chakra.
It allows the user to gain tremendous power through Tenseigan Chakra Mode which gives the ability to manipulate gravitational forces, produce truth-seeking orbs, fly, and even destroy planets with ease. The Tenseigan was later awakened by Toneri Otsutsuki, however, this eye doesn't have any users right now.
2 Isshiki's Dojutsu
Isshiki is the strongest known Otsutsuki to appear in the world of Naruto. Having partnered with Kaguya, Isshiki was quite powerful and could even defeat the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha together. At his disposal was a rare Kekkei Genkai in his left eye.
This eye allowed him to instantaneously shrink himself or any other inanimate object using Sukunahikona. At the same time, he could also store things in a dimension where time didn't flow and summon them in an instant whenever he wanted using Daikokuten. Currently, this Dojutsu is wielded by Kawaki.
1 Jogan
The Jogan is quite possibly the rarest Kekkei Genkai in the Naruto franchise as it is only wielded by Boruto Uzumaki in his right eye. According to Toneri, this eye is deeply connected to the Otsutsuki, however, very little is known about it so far. The Jogan allows Boruto Uzumaki to read negative emotions and follow negative chakra with ease.
At the same time, it also allows him to see the chakra pathway system, find out where the weak point of his targets lie and then use them to his advantage. This eye also has the ability to see through the invisible barriers that connect space-time, making it quite overpowered. The extent of its powers is not known yet, however, fans expect to see what it is fully capable of quite soon.
