Naruto is known for its incredible action scenes, and very few anime come close to the quality of fights in the series. Most of these battles involve strong fighters who are armed with ridiculously powerful Jutsu that are capable of causing widespread destruction.
Some Jutsu, in particular, are unique and possess the ability to knock out the target with a single hit. Due to the power of these techniques, it is extremely difficult to avoid being hit by them. Most of these techniques require high chakra levels or a unique Kekkei Genkai to pull them off. With that in mind, here are some techniques which take down an opponent with just a single hit.
10 Night Guy
Might Guy was one of the most powerful Jonin within the Hidden Leaf village. Guy had little to no talent for Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, so he devoted his entire time to learning more about Taijutsu.
Under his father's tutelage, Might Guy learned to use the Eight Inner Gates. Night Guy was used by Might Guy while using the eighth and final gate. The attack's power was enough to bend space and caused Madara's body to be split in half. During their fight, Madara acknowledged Guy as the best Taijutsu user that he had ever seen.
9 Amaterasu
The Mangekyou Sharingan is the evolved form of the regular Sharingan and it can be awakened by an individual once they witness a lot of trauma or any other emotion in access. The Mangekyou Sharingan grants access to several other abilities.
One such ability is the Amaterasu, which was used by Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha. It is the strongest Fire Release technique and is capable of burning fire itself. The black flames of Amaterasu do not stop burning until they incinerate the target. These flames can be dispelled by certain attacks such as Shinra Tensei.
8 Tengai Shinsei
The Tengai Shinsei is among the most devastating techniques in Naruto. The technique was used by the legendary Uchiha, Madara against the Shinobi Alliance. While inside his Susanoo, Madara used several hand seals, which brought forth gigantic meteors from the sky.
These meteors were enough to wipe out a huge part of the Shinobi Alliance. Due to the large range of the attack, the user also runs the risk of getting caught in its devastation.
7 Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball
Kaguya Otsutsuki is the strongest villain in Naruto. She was revived after Black Zetsu backstabbed Madara. Kaguya's ridiculous chakra reserves allowed her to use some of the most powerful attacks.
The Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball is a Kekkei Mora technique that was used by Kaguya as her final resort. This attack requires a great deal of chakra and is capable of destroying the entire world.
6 Indra's Arrow
Sasuke's power increased by several folds during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Hagoromo Otsutsuki bestowed Sasuke with some of his power, which allowed the latter to awaken the Rinnegan. With the power of the Rinnegan, Sasuke gained access to a variety of new abilities including the power to drain chakra.
In this technique, Sasuke drained the chakra of all the nine tailed beasts and combined it with Lightning Release. The attack was strong enough to cancel the effects of Naruto's most powerful attack. A normal ninja stands absolutely no chance against this attack.
5 Chibaku Tensei
The Rinnegan is the most powerful out of the "Three Great Dojutsu." It bestows incredible powers to its wielder, but it puts the body under great stress. This is one of the many reasons why only a handful of characters managed to control the power of the Dojutsu.
Chibaku Tensei is a strong sealing attack that utilizes the power of the Rinnegan. The user can employ it to stop the target's movement and thus put an end to the fight. With an improved version of this technique, Sasuke and Naruto were able to seal away Kaguya Otsutsuki, which brought an end to the Fourth Great Ninja War.
4 Six Paths: Ultra Big Ball Rasenshuriken
This is Naruto Uzumaki's strongest technique, the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. For this attack, Naruto uses the Six Paths Sage Senjutsu. He creates two Rasenshuriken — the Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken and the Six Paths Big Ball Rasenshuriken, which are imbued with natural energy.
The technique was able to stop Indra's Arrow, which is Sasuke's ultimate technique. When he used the Six Paths: Ultra Big Ball Rasenshuriken, Naruto gave everything he had. The move was so powerful, Sasuke believed Naruto had finally decided to kill him.
3 Infinite Tsukuyomi
The Infinite Tsukuyomi is the strongest Genjutsu in the series. It requires the user to reflect the Rinne-Sharingan from the moon's surface. Once the Genjutsu is cast, it is nigh impossible to avoid it.
The only people that can avoid the effects of the Genjutsu are those who possess the Rinnegan or the chakra of all the nine-tailed beasts. It traps people in a world of dreams, creating an illusion that is extremely difficult to break out of.
2 All Killing Ash Bones
Kaguya Otsutsuki dominated Team 7 for the majority of the fight. It took a lot of effort and sacrifice to bring a halt to her advances. All Killing Ash Bones is one of Kaguya's strongest techniques and it uses the bones inside her body.
She could use these bones as projectiles or in close combat with her foes. An individual struck by any of these projectiles would suffer from disintegration at a molecular level and thus inevitably die. There is no possible way to reverse the effects of this attack.
1 Reaper Death Seal
The Reaper Death Seal was first introduced during the Konoha Crush arc by Hiruzen Sarutobi. This attack was developed by the Uzumaki Clan, and it is capable of sealing any individual.
The user summons the Shinigami who takes away the soul of its summoner and the target. The technique comes at the cost of the user's life, so it is only used in dire situations. This move is also known as the Dead Demon Consuming Seal.
