Kushina Uzumaki was the Jinchuriki of Kurama, the Nine Tails. Before Naruto, she held the Tailed Beast within herself. Kushina was the host of this beast for many years, that is, until the day when Naruto was born came.
On this day, Kushina’s seal was at its weakest and that is when Obito struck. He was able to extract the tailed beast from her body. Due to her Uzumaki lineage, kushina survived the Tailed Based extraction. In fact, she even continued fighting after having the tailed beast extracted from her, which is nothing short of staggering. To date, she remains one of the only few people in the Naruto world who actually ended up surviving this.
4 Gaara
Tailed Beast Extracted By The Akatsuki
Gaara was the Jinchuriki of the One Tail at one point in the story. He made use of its power greatly in combat, and thanks to his hard work, he ended up becoming the 5th Kazekage of the village. When the Akatsuki were hunting down Tailed Beasts, Gaara was the first one they targeted, since they were going in order.
He ended up being defeated by Deidara, and from there onwards, the Tailed Beast was extracted from him using the Nine Phantom Dragons technique. Gaara ended up dying after his beast was extracted. However, Chiyo used the life transfer technique to give her own force for her, bringing him back to life. Technically, he did not survive the Tailed Beast extraction, however, his life was spared due to someone else sacrificing themselves for him.

Tailed Beast Extracted By The Ninja Alliance
Obito Uchiha became the Jinchuriki of the 10 Tails in the 4th Great Ninja War. In this war, Obito was one of the biggest antagonists and he fought against the entire shinobi alliance. Because of his wavering spirit, Obito ended up being defeated by Naruto Uzumaki. In the end, the shinobi alliance combined to pull the 10 Tailed Beasts from inside of him.

2 Killer Bee
Tailed Beast Extracted By Madara Uchiha
Killer Bee was the Jinchuriki of the Eight Tails, Gyuki. He was quite strong and one of the few perfect Jinchuriki that fans saw in the Naruto series. Bee was also the one responsible for training Naruto how to gain control over his Tailed Beast. Overall, he was quite an amazing character and he played a significant role in the latter half of the Naruto series.
Bee also played a significant role in the 4th Great Ninja War, where he fought against the Akatsuki and, later on, the Uchiha as well. Sadly, he had his tailed beast extracted from his body by none other than Madara, who used the chains of the Gedo Statue to pull it from him. B would have died after this extraction, however, the Eight Tails left one of its tentacles behind in his body, which he clung to in order to survive the extraction. Thankfully, after the war, Killer Bee got access to his Tailed Beast once again and that is what ended up saving his life.
1 Naruto Uzumaki
Tailed Beast Extracted By Madara
Naruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, was the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails, Kurama. Naruto forged a strong bond with Kurama in the Fourth Great Ninja War, and these two then became the best of friends.
Kurama aided Naruto greatly in the war and helped him fight against the Akatsuki, the free reanimated ninjas, and, of course, Madara Uchiha as well.
However, after Madara gained access to more power, he used the Gedo Statue to pull the Nine Tails from within Naruto. Naruto was able to survive this for quite a while due to his Uzumaki lineage. However, he would eventually have died. Thankfully, his friends were around him and managed to rescue him. It was Obito who ended up transferring parts of the One Tail and the Eight Tails to him and, of course, half of the Nine Tails, which was within Black Zetsu after he stole it from Minato, restoring him back to full power and saving his life.
