Sasuke Uchiha is one of the main characters in the Naruto series and a brilliant shinobi belonging to the village of Konoha. Being born a member of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke was blessed with immense talent from the get-go.
While growing up, he worked incredibly hard and became one of the strongest Shinobi to ever live, matched only by the 7th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Over the years, Sasuke has achieved quite a lot in the world of ninja and has thus become a beacon of hope for those who need help.
8 Killed Orochimaru
Sasuke studied the art of ninja under Orochimaru and massively improved his skill as a Shinobi during the two-and-a-half-year timeskip of the story. With the goal of killing Itachi Uchiha in his mind, Sasuke reached unprecedented levels for a Ninja his age.
As soon as he knew that he couldn't learn anything more from Orochimaru, Sasuke then proceeded to kill him. Knowing that Orochimaru just wanted him for his body and to fulfill his own desires, Sasuke took matters into his own hands and ended the legacy of one of the Legendary Sannin of the village.
7 Defeated Deidara
On his quest to get to Itachi and exact his revenge, Sasuke ran into several other members of the Akatsuki, with Deidara being his biggest challenge. The two fought a hard and long battle where Deidara showcased his incredible Explosion Release Kekkei Genkai. Despite his brilliance, Sasuke was able to deal with him, thanks to his incredible understanding of jutsu in general.
At the same time, this fight led to the death of Deidara, one of the strongest members of the Akatsuki. That said, it also left Sasuke bruised and battered and he needed quite a lot of rest to recover and set out on the search for his brother once again.
6 Awakened Mangekyo Sharingan
Towards the end of his fight with his brother, Sasuke passed out and upon waking up, he heard the truth about his brother from the mouth of Obito Uchiha. Sasuke didn't realize that everything Itachi did was for the sake of the village and, more importantly, for his younger brother.
Hearing this stirred grief in his heart and he felt the loss of his brother for the very first time. Expectedly, he went on to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan. With this eye, Sasuke got tremendously powerful and ascended to the next level. It was also a parting gift from Itachi to Sasuke.
5 Awakened The Rinnegan
Sasuke's ocular jutsu evolution did not stop with the Mangekyo Sharingan. Shortly after awakening this eye, Sasuke realized that it led to blindness and, as such, after the Five Kage Summit, he asked for Itachi's eyes to be implanted into his body, thus getting access to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke met Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, who gifted half of his powers to him. Thus, Sasuke was able to awaken the Rinnegan in his left eye. Thanks to this eye, he was able to ascend to the next level and find characters such as Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsutsuki.
4 Trapped All 9 Tailed Beasts
In his fight against Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke finally went all out and, having gained more control over his Rinnegan, he was able to achieve feats never seen before. With the Deva Path, Sasuke was able to use Chibaku Tensei to drop all nine Tailed Beasts at once. This is an incredible feat for any Shinobi to pull off.
To put it in perspective, Pain was hardly able to hold an eight-tailed Kurama inside Chibaku Tensei. On the other hand, Sasuke was able to trap every single one of them, including Kurama, and then proceeded to fight Naruto, which is an incredible achievement, no matter how fans look at it.
3 Created A Humanoid Susanoo
Shortly after trapping all the Tailed Beasts, Sasuke drained chakra from their bodies and used it to create a humanoid Susanoo. This was an improvement on the already powerful Full-Body Susanoo that Sasuke awakened in the war.
The humanoid Susanoo was incredibly powerful and could overwhelm Naruto Uzumaki in his Six Paths Sage Mode easily. Kurama scaled Sasuke's proficiency in chakra control to the Sage of Six Paths.
2 Matched Naruto After The War
It was clear that at the end of the 4th Great Ninja War, Sasuke was a tad weaker than Naruto Uzumaki. What's more, after the conclusion of the war, Naruto got even stronger after receiving the other half of Kurama as well.
Yet, after the blank period, Sasuke is objectively known to have been equal to Naruto in strength. This means that during the blank period, he got tremendously powerful and worked on his ab ilities day in day out. As such, his powers became even greater and he became an equal match for Naruto.
1 Pseudo Ice Release
Perhaps one of Sasuke's greatest achievements is the fact that he was able to replicate a Kekkei Genkai with rather ease. Usually, only those who possess the Kekkei Genkai through bloodlines are able to employ them.
However, Sasuke is known to have been able to create a pseudo version of the Ice Release. He does this by using Water Release at a high level and then immediately cooling it down with Wind Release. Konohamaru was incredibly shocked at seeing him use this and fans can also see him make use of this ability in the Sasuke Retsuden manga.
