The Akatsuki were a powerful bunch that played a major role in the Naruto series. All the members of this group were believed to be incredibly dangerous S-Rank criminals. It is no surprise that the members of this criminal organization had some of the most powerful jutsu under their belt.
Over the course of the story of Naruto, fans got to see quite a lot of incredible techniques being performed by the members of the Akatsuki, and while some of them were enough to be called impressive, others left the fans absolutely stunned at how dangerous and potent they truly were.
11 Kakuzu - Earth Grudge Fear
Kakuzu was one of the stronger members of the Akatsuki and also one of the oldest. He was a Shinobi who lived during the time of the First Great Ninja War as he had fought Hashirama Senju as well.
Before he defected from Takigakure, he stole their Forbidden Jutsu of Earth Grudge Fear, using which he could have five hearts and also manipulate each of the nature transformations at a very effective level. This technique made him almost unkillable and even a skilled Jonin who had the potential to be a Kage, such as Kakashi, struggled greatly in fighting him, thanks to this jutsu.
10 Hidan - Death Controlling Possessed Blood
Hidan had a rather unconventional jutsu up his sleeve, however, this technique was quite dangerous as it simply allowed him to kill nearly anyone in one shot, provided he had their blood.
Having a taste of their blood would connect them somehow to his body and, given that Hidan was immortal himself, stabbing his own heart would mean the death of whoever was on the receiving end of the technique. Hidan killed Asuma using this Jutsu and could potentially kill even stronger enemies with ease.
9 Sasori - Performance Of A Hundred Puppets
Performance of a 100 Puppets is believed to be an exceptionally overpowered technique and it is also Sasori's strongest.
This jutsu is believed to be strong enough to take on an entire nation by itself, with only adds to the ferocity of Sasori. He used this jutsu in the fight against Chiyo and Sakura and while he was unable to defeat them, he certainly did leave the fans in a state of awe.
8 Kisame - Great Shark Bullet
Kisame's Great Shark Bullet is an incredibly dangerous Jutsu, especially against those who are unaware of how it functions. Essentially, this jutsu allows Kisame to produce a giant shark within water that feeds on the chakra of the opponents' techniques and the opponents alike.
This means that the stronger the opponent that Kisame is facing is, the stronger this technique will get. The only reason this technique was countered was because he was up against Might Guy, who relies on taijutsu instead of ninjutsu.
7 Deidara - C0
Deidara also had some incredible Jutsu up his sleeve and C0 was certainly the strongest. This technique was a last resort and a suicide bombing attempt by him as it simply blew his entire body up.
The explosion itself was huge enough to blow the entire surroundings up. In fact, this Jutsu is believed to have a blast radius of 10 km.
6 Konan - Billion Paper Bombs
Konan was one of the strongest members of the Akatsuki and also one of the most underrated ones. Her skill in paper manipulation was incredible. Konan's strongest techniques allowed her to manipulate a billion paper bombs at once and this technique was powerful enough to kill even Obito Odia, despite him having the power of Kamui at his side.
These paper explosions could easily destroy a country with ease and while Konan needed preparation for it, it was still extremely impressive, nonetheless.
5 Orochimaru - Edo Tensei
Orochimaru was a member of the Akatsuki at one point and even though it was for his own gain, he did serve them for a significant period of time.
Orochimaru Is a master of countless jutsu and in his arsenal, the strongest one is certainly the Edo Tensei. With this Jutsu, he could bring back any powerful Shinobi of the old from the dead and control them according to his will.
4 Itachi - Susanoo
Itachi Uchiha had several overpowered jutsu up his sleeve but the strongest of them all was the Susanoo, as mentioned by the legendary Uchiha himself.
The Susanoo is the trump card of any Mangekyo Sharingan user and Itachi's was equipped with the power of the Yata Mirror and the Totsuka Blade. The Yata Mirror deflected any and every attack thrown his way, and Totsuka Blade would seal anyone with a single pierce of the sword, making Itachi invincible.
3 Pain - Chibaku Tensei
Out of the many powerful techniques that Pain could perform with his Rinnegan, Chibaku Tensei was certainly the strongest. With this technique, he attempted to seal Kurama and almost succeeded.
It must be remembered that Pain performed this when he was almost out of chakra as he had already blown up a village with his Shinra Tensei and fought Naruto after. Had Pain been at full health and chakra, Kurama would have stood no chance against a powerful Sealing Jutsu as strong as Chibaku Tensei.
2 Obito - Kamui
Obito Uchiha had the powers of Kamui under his belt and this jutsu allowed him to become intangible, in a sense. He could transport any part of his body to the dimension of Kamui and make it appear as if the attacks passed right through him.
His powers were such that even the strongest of abilities would simply not work on him and this is what gave him the appearance of a God.
1 Zetsu - All Killing Ash Bone
Surprisingly, the strongest Jutsu of all the Akatsuki members would belong to Black Zetsu. Black Zetsu is the will incarnate of Kaguya, which means any jutsu that belongs to her also belongs to him.
In fact, when Kaguya was brought back to life, Black Zetsu was controlling one of her arms and using All Killing Ash Bone at his own will. With this technique, he could kill anyone in a single blow as whatever this bone touched would disintegrate within a matter of seconds.
