The Akatsuki were an incredibly powerful group of ninjas to exist in the Naruto world. Of course, these dangerous criminals were seasoned fighters, who had, at one point or another, learned some of the most overpowered Jutsu to ever exist. The Akatsuki did not play by the rules and everything, such as Forbidden Jutsu and techniques capable of destroying entire villages and ripping them apart, were fair game to them.

10 Mayfly

User: Zetsu

Zetsu was one of the weakest members of the Akatsuki and he was certainly not combat oriented. His specialty was infiltration and that is exactly what he did with the mayfly technique.

This technique was absolutely phenomenal for infiltration purposes and that is why Zetsu made great use of it outside of battle.

Known to be the immortal killer, Hidan was quite an enemy for anyone to fight, largely because defeating him in combat was not easy at all. Even if one did manage to kill him, his body simply wouldn't die, just because it was immortal.

His signature technique was death controlling possessed blood and it allowed him to consume someone else's blood and then deal damage to them by injuring his own body.

User: Deidara

Deidara had many powerful techniques, with the strongest of them being C0. However, this technique was certainly not his go-to ability. Deidara usually utilized from C1 to C4, however, the most exciting of these abilities was his C4 technique, which saw him release thousands of microscopic bombs in his surroundings.

Anyone who inhaled these bombs would simply be too easy for him to take down. Once inhaled, Deidara could make them explode from the inside and turn the target to dust.

7 Performance Of A Hundred Puppets

User: Sasori

Sasori was a master puppeteer in the Naruto world like no other and he proved this through his incredible Jutsu, Performance of 100 Puppets. This technique saw him utilize 100 puppets at once.

To put this into perspective, a master puppeteer only uses 10 at most. According to Sasori, he took down an entire nation with this Jutsu all alone.

6 Earth Grudge Fear

User: Kakuzu

For Kakuzu, the strongest ability that was utilized in combat was, by far, Earth Grudge Fear. This was the Forbidden Jutsu that he stole from Takigakure before escaping.

Essentially, it allowed him to hold five hearts at once and utilize every single nature transformation through them, making it quite a dangerous ability.

5 Great Shark Bullet

User: Kisame

Known to be a masterful Water Release user, Kisame was a magnificent member of the Akatsuki who had several powerful techniques up his sleeve. His signature technique was the shark bullet technique, however, the strongest version of it was what he utilized against dangerous enemies, such as Might Guy.

His strongest technique was, by far, the Great Shark Bullet, which was utilized in battle against Guy, moments before losing. This technique fed on chakra to grow stronger.

4 Paper Person Of God

User: Konan

When it comes to destructive capabilities, hardly any Jutsu can come close to Konan's Paper Person of God. This technique saw Konan utilize 600 billion paper bombs at once.

This power should be enough to destroy continents if not planets. This ability was such that even the Sharingan could not counter it and it could even kill Obito himself.

3 Shinra Tensei

User: Pain

Pain possessed several powerful techniques up his sleeve, thanks to the Rinnegan. However, when it comes to his signature ability, it was, by far, Shinra Tensei, which allowed him to repel anything using the power of his Rinnegan.

When he used this at maximum power, he was even able to blow up all of Konoha and destroy it with one push.

2 Tsukuyomi

User: Itachi Uchiha

Itachi certainly possessed many amazing abilities up his sleeve, however, by far, his signature technique was his amazing Genjutsu prowess. In the entire Naruto series, there was no other Genjutsu master as great as Itachi.

His signature technique, Tsukuyomi, made it so that Itachi could drop anyone inside his Genjutsu world and torture them for eternity using space and time manipulation.

1 Kamui

User: Obito Uchiha

Obito Uchiha was one of the strongest members of the Akatsuki, even though he feigned being a good for nothing for quite a while. However, as the series progressed further, his actual nature was shown. Obito was tremendously powerful and this was evident from his signature technique, Kamui.

Despite having just one of his two Sharingan, Obito could use this power amazingly well and make it appear as if he was intangible. With both his eyes, which he only received towards the end of the story, combined with the power of Six Paths chakra, he could even rival Madara in combat, which just goes to show how dangerous his signature ability was.
